My fiancee called me up friday while I was at work and was like, hey hunni, since ur car is gonna be down for a little while during the turbo build and you have ur work truck to tow it with anyways, would you get pissed if we traded in my truck for a car so we don't have 2 gas guzzlers in the family? And i'm sittin here thinkin oh boy, she's gonna want some stupid economy car or something, so i'm like nah, I don't care, what do you want? And she tells me she found a really nice GTO that she wanted to go look at after we got off work that day, and i'm like ****** A right!!!!

So we went to look at it, they gave us the deal we wanted and we took her home!!!!!!!

Boy is it nice to have a quick 6-speed car in the family again, and this thing is really nice and comfortable as hell, the interior is amazing, and the ride is so smooth, I don't remember my Camaro ever being that smooth!!!!! She's coming along nicely with learning to drive the stick and she is loving it!!!! She'll be bangin gears in no time!!!!

It's an '04 with only 22k miles on it, already has exhaust and intake and that's all she wants, so that's perfect cuz I don't have to do anything to it, just gonna hook up me efilive and tune her to get even better gas mileage than she already does (gotta love the 6-speed for gas mileage)!

Thanks dude!!! I doubt anything will be done, she just wants it to look and sound nice, it's already got exhaust and intake, and i'm gonna tune, so she's happy! I'm not gonna take any money away from the turbo build on the Z to mod the goat, so no mods bought by me (unless a present for birthday or something) till the Z is done. Now if she puts the money together and wants me to install ****, no problem! But she'd probably buy rims and appearance stuff like that first. I hate to say it, but we'll probably take her to the track wed (I don't really wanna beat on her, but at stock power, I think she'll be ok for the occassional track visit), she wants me to run her down the strip to see what she will do (guess she's just curious to see what kind of potential she's got when she eventually learns how to drive her well).

Nah, the Goat is too nice to make a race car and they're way too heavy and IRS blows for draggin! Might make it a corner carving beast though when the Z is done!

 

i said the same with my vett, but now she has spray, that was to much for the clutch, so she is getting a clutch, and because im doing the clutch i mine as well up the shot, and to up the shot i ordered 42 pound injectors, and to do that i need a tune so i ordered the credits with my hp tuners to do that and with more spray and better parts i mine as well throw some drag radials on it.

Hahaha, trust me, I know the sickness well!!!! But i'm not takin money away from the Z, I wanna finish it first before I mod another car, I don't want the Z down for 2 years!

 

My fiancee does want a small cam in it in the future, so it probably will see that, which will mean i'll have to do a clutch on it too, but nothing till my Camaro is done unless she's payin for the parts!!!

Im glad you all like my new ride! and devon is right, there is not going to be any mod other than what it has and MAYBE a small cam sometime down the road. right now im going to tint the windows and maybe do some appearance mods. but im glad you all like it!! im pretty excited about it!
