Default N20 solinoid did not open???

Got fuel with no N20 last night, all wiring looked good, so I turned off the bottle and tested things, everything worked except the n20 and there was n20 in the main line...

A few hours later when I got home it worked fine???

Could bottle pressure (it was high 1200psi) or heat soak be the problem?

Or do I need to have the Noid looked at?

What is the solenoid rated at? If the psi it is at is more than the rated psi on the kit it will lock up over that psi, it's for more of a safety reason...

1200psi could be the problem. If the pressure is too hight the noid won't be able to open. Drop it down to 1000 and see if you still have trouble.

I had my bottle pressure up that high before, the purge would not work. So, let if cool down and sure enough, it was working again. So, could be that it was too high.

To high of a bottle pressure could be a problem. However with our solenoids they will normally open under high bottle pressure depending how high it is.. It could also be a bad ground.

Are the noids in a place were they get hot. The heat causes the electromagnet on the noid to become inifective and it wont open. It has happened to me my noids are in the back of the engine on the direct port rails.

The Noids are grounded via intake bolts, on there respective sides (I pushed the washers out and installed a small elec conector soldered them and put the washers back on).

Noids are next to the fuel rails under the covers.

High enough pressure combined with heat soak can cause the best noids to fail, at least temporaraly.
