Default NX intake, NXL DP system, 85mm TB

just got it in today. normally, this kit would have nozzles that go under the fuel injector. i got their LS intake that has the ports drilled into the intake for the nitrous and fuel.

the intake

here's a close up of where the nitrous lines will go to just like if you had a nozzle.

here's what it looks like inside the injector hole where the nitrous and fuel will come out

the underside of the intake has a 1/4" thick aluminum plate

inside the intake

the NXL direct port kit replaces the factory LS intake fuel rails. this way, it pulls fuel right off the rails

the fuel accumulator. this helps with the initial hit of the system.

the 85mm TB

That intake is discontinued. Had to many problems with the casters. So whom ever gets one there will only be a few out there at this time. Intakes are 850.00
535.00 on the throttle body. Again limited supplies.

Sweet, what a trick system this will be. Can I ask one question, and not meant to bust your *****. Why use the NXL rails, as they have the largest volume and are hardest to keep full on intitial hit? Though, they are about the trickest look when plumbed with the Kevlar lines, imo.

No they do not. The holes feeding the system are realitivly small. And shorter then if using a conventional rail system.

Are they revamped from the originals then, where we were having lean spike issues because of volume? Or is it a totally different issue causing the lean thing, and if so then why the need for the fuel accumulator?
