Default what size.

ive heard alot of different things on what size of a shot u should give an ls1. i was curious to whats safe and what it can really handle.

100 you should be able to do foreve3r 150 for a few years 200 is getting to the need a new motor at any time now.

i think i will go with 100 on that info. appreciate it. it will be later on down the road when i get a few more things that are more important to me. like heads, intake manifold,and a fat *** cam.lol

Im looking to do a 125 wet. With a good tune, and the safety features, you should be able to spray a 150 for awhile with no problem. Id be more worried about stock drivetrain parts breaking than the motor.

do wet 100 to 125 if you can. The breaking point on the stock bottom end is the rod bolts they stretch and the rod bearing slips and your Fu$$ and then its time to rebuild. One thing a friend of mine did is drop the k member and oil pan and change the rod bolt out from underneath I think he put k tech bolts. But if you dont know what you are doing not recommened.

yeah im plannning on running 150 wet shot on mine as soon as i get it tuned... a lot of poeple on here are running 150 to 200 and arent seeing any problems. i would go to 150 and no more just to be on the safe side.
