sprayed the car for the very first time tonight. 75 wet shot and put TR-6s in today
first run everything went fine until after the race was over, i turned down the return lane and the car died. it started right back up and i drove it to the timeslip stand were it died again as soon as i came to a stop. started back up fine and drove back to the pits.
anybody know why that would happen?
i made another run with no problems but now everytime i go to start the car it seems to studder a bit then crank up. this part very well could be in my head though.
the car drove home just fine, it does have an SES light but that is from the temp sensor being broken off

I am wondering where in the bellows you mounted your bottle?
It may at an angle or possibly have turned a little bit so that its not spraying towards the middle of the tb.
In that case the nitrous may not be getting evenly distributed between the cylinders and the rest are taking the full hit.
If you were running stock plugs during that time you may have melted the platinum tips off of the plugs, which will widen the gap and could cause the engine to do what you described.
Thats the only thing I can think of right now assuming that you already checked checked to see iff tour plug wires were tight.
I have heard that stock plugs can handle a 75 shot, if the nitrous distribution is even, which is why I am leaning towards the nozzle being a little off.

i swapped to TR-6s earlier that day before i ever sprayed and i know the wires are on.
would the nozzle being at a strange angle cause the car to die? keep in mind it died after i sprayed and the nitrous was off. during the run everything went fine.

No, it should not have.
How is your car running now?
Tr6 plugs don't idle as smooth as stockers, but it should not be dying on you.
You said your ses light is on because of a broken sensor, but its possible that in addition to the sensor something else is going on.
Maybe a quick run to an auto zone is called for.
I have heard that they will scan your car for free.

I think you just cleaned the carbon out of it
LOL
The first time I sprayed my car, everything was good. I got off the interstate and went to a gas station to look everything over in the engine bay, left the gas station, and it stuttered on me when I was leaving...only did it ONCE, never has done it again. I have NO clue why.

Yea I have the TR6's in my car as well. Havent sprayed yet....considering my kit is still being shipped haha, but I do experience a little bit of a rougher idle with the TR6's. So I at least know thats normal.
