Default shine them selenoids!

hey guys

so after winter storage, i've noticed my NOS selenoids have some pitting on the outside covers. I haven't tried to polish them off, but does anybody sell any kind of nifty covers that look good? like a nice aluminum cover or something

c'mon Dave, show me some bling!!

This is interesting. Does anyone know if aluminum polish can be used on solenoids?

The solenoid cans are steel covers. Im not sure if they will polish or not. Unless you have the NOS polished solenoids I would think that your best bet will be to paint the cans or send them in and have them air brushed.

Or, change over to the Carbon Fiber covered NX Stage 6 noids. I did, from NOS noids, and they are the best looking noids out there. You know if ya really want to make your noids look trick, polishing the SS base really adds to the overall look. However, the stg 6 noids have an anodized alum base which is real nice also.

Of course you can polish your solenoids. Get some buffing pads, some polishing compound, and set aside some time. That's how I polished my Hurst roll control solenoid.

I took the tops off of my NX solenoids & Dynotune solenoids last winter and polished them up. Really pretty easy.
