Default will my rear end handle it?

well i own a ls1 98 camaro A4 that has 95000 miles, it has full exhuast,lid,3.73's,(Mt's only on the track), and a trany tune. i was wondering if i should do a 50 shot even though it has 95K miles on it, i dont plan on using it all the time i would just use it for like meesing around on the street, and couple times year when i go to the track.and also i plan on getting a 3200 stall, should i keep the 50 shot or no? im asking cause im real worried about the stock rear end, not sure if it can handle both. plz help

a 50 shot should be fine, i would be careful with a 100-150shot though...

I would not worry about a 50 shot, but on a 100 I would worry, but not about the rear, but rather your trans cuz its an A4.

Like billybadd said wheel hop breaks rear ends my M6 had the same setup lasted about 70 hard 1/8 mile passes and pounding it on the street with a 50 shoot . Your an auto it might last.

I snapped my axel way back with just bolt on's and slicks. Auto's seem to save the rear so you may get lucky but mine broke NA with minor bolt on's but I was cutting 1.64 60ft's full weight

Blah, I have 150shot on a 120K mile engine. I haven't had the first issue yet. I do not launch because I am driving a stock manual rear end with 4.10's . Good friend of mine has 3.73's with a 3500 stall and has had MANY track passes on 10.5" ET's and his rear end has held up perfectly, mine has as well.

doesn't a 1st gear lockout decrease your chance of breaking the rear?

I have heads & cam with a 125 shot and a 3800 stall and I spray it out of the hole every time with DRs on it and run mid 10s with the stock 10 bolt with 1.5 60's every time. And before the H/C I had a 4000 stall with a 150 shot spraying out of the hole fore about 2 1/2 years running 11.4s. The only thing I had to replace is the tanny. Now I have seen people that only run mid 12s pop the 10 bolt.
