The trans brake and nitrous over powered the tires, the car spun badly through the 60' and even worse on the 1-2 shift. I'm confident that when we tune in the suspension she'll go 9.70's just as she sits. This run was made with a 200 shot of nitrous. A little info on the car:
Cartek built shortblock
stock 346. displacement
forged rods, forged 12.5:1 pistons
stock crank
Comp Cam
Cartek Stage II "X" Heads
TNT wet kit (200 shot)
Fuel system (don't know much about it but it's pretty involved)
Rossler TH350 w/ trans brake
TCS converter
3.73 gears
That's pretty much it, the car is far from light, a good guestimate is around 3550 with me in it, I weigh 265lbs. I'm definitely going to lighten this car up and look to shave off about 100 lbs.
A huge thanks to Dave, Roy and Max for coming out with me and helping setup the car, and to Pete and Brent for moral support!!!!!!!! You guys are great!!! We are gunning for the 9's this Wed. nite at E-Town.
BMN, no N/A times yet. The car made 585rwhp and 717rwtq. That's with the 200 shot, through the Borla muffler, no short belt and bottle pressure at 900PSI.

I want to spray out of the hole and see what happens. I was thinking of setting window at 3000, bring rpm above that (MN6), and then hammer the WOT switch at launch. Are you doing similar? Or do you use some sort of N2O management?
Get that thing in the 9's
No direct port, I'm running the TNT wet kit with the "power ring" that they use. No nitrous managment system, it just comes on at wot, which is as soon as I release the trans brake. It's pretty violent!
In the future Cartek will be converting this system over to a direct port so I can run more nitrous. Maybe look into doing a 2 stage with some sort of progressor.

You'll have 9's for sure after you dial it in. What tire are you running?
