TH350 conversion all complete, fuel system all complete, so the weather was nice and we loaded her up on the trailer. Cartek Dave, Roy, Pete, Max, Brent and myself got to Atco late so we missed time trials. Anyhow, we dialed in a 10.00 and headed for the staging lanes. First and only pass of the day:
Dial... 10.00
R/T... .438
60... 1.48
330... 4.192
1/8... 6.475
MPH... 106.96
990... 8.413
1/4... 10.159
MPH... 133.92
The trans brake and nitrous over powered the tires, the car spun badly through the 60' and even worse on the 1-2 shift. I'm confident that when we tune in the suspension she'll go 9.70's just as she sits. This run was made with a 200 shot of nitrous. A little info on the car:
Cartek built shortblock
stock 346. displacement
forged rods, forged 12.5:1 pistons
stock crank
Comp Cam
Cartek Stage II "X" Heads
TNT wet kit (200 shot)
Fuel system (don't know much about it but it's pretty involved)
Rossler TH350 w/ trans brake
TCS converter
3.73 gears
That's pretty much it, the car is far from light, a good guestimate is around 3550 with me in it, I weigh 265lbs. I'm definitely going to lighten this car up and look to shave off about 100 lbs.
A huge thanks to Dave, Roy and Max for coming out with me and helping setup the car, and to Pete and Brent for moral support!!!!!!!! You guys are great!!! We are gunning for the 9's this Wed. nite at E-Town.

Max, me too. Not to worry, my buddy is bringing a video camera to E-town Wed. night.
BMN, no N/A times yet. The car made 585rwhp and 717rwtq. That's with the 200 shot, through the Borla muffler, no short belt and bottle pressure at 900PSI.

Mike, great to see that the combo is out running and kicking ***.One run,off the trailer,10.15-smokin,9s are in there no doubt.
Mike...good results! Are you running direct port? How do you have things set up for launch. Are you spraying right out of the hole?
I want to spray out of the hole and see what happens. I was thinking of setting window at 3000, bring rpm above that (MN6), and then hammer the WOT switch at launch. Are you doing similar? Or do you use some sort of N2O management?
Get that thing in the 9's

Thanks Todd,
No direct port, I'm running the TNT wet kit with the "power ring" that they use. No nitrous managment system, it just comes on at wot, which is as soon as I release the trans brake. It's pretty violent!
In the future Cartek will be converting this system over to a direct port so I can run more nitrous. Maybe look into doing a 2 stage with some sort of progressor.

Cartek really knows what they are doing with the DP setups. I called Dave and he gave me lots of good info when I was setting mine up.

You'll have 9's for sure after you dial it in. What tire are you running?
