Default What jets for 150rwhp Dry?

I have looked and asked some on here and no answers. Can someone tell me what size jets for dual dry kit (NOS kit) rated for 150rwhp?

Are you running the 5177 kit? If so, I have read that removing the jets, would equal out to 140-150rwhp. That's suppose to be the limit without splitting up the noids.

Personally, I would still use a jet so it will seat and seal well to the nozzle. Just drill out some 50 or 75 shot jets.

No idea what to drill them too. This car has a larger noid capable of 400hp so only restriction is the lines which seam to be rated to 150 to 175 but there are two so I need to know what jets.

I'm running dual .046. Supposed to be 150 rwhp but I haven't hit the dyno yet.

Everyone is pretty close, however, here is what I have come up with using the 950psi that NOS uses. Dual .048's will give about 175 flywheel HP, and about 149rwhp. Now each car can vary a bit so what you get exactly cannot be predicted, but any of the sizes given will get you in the ball park. The only way to get exactly 150rwhp on your combo and a/f ratio, and timing and so on is to do it on the dyno, meaning jet it for 150rwhp.

I hear ya on that. Thanks guys. I do not have a dyno to use at will for something like this. So you made 149rwhp on the 48s?

Would you say if a tune was lean on the gas it would make more power by richening it up? Just trying to see where I am at. I made 110 on .040 jets at 13:1 AFR and did not have time to make adjustments. So what I am saying is if I made more power with 12:1 then I would want to keep that in mind when selecting jets. I do not want to over pill it. I guess I could go with the 48s and run say 900psi just to be safe. I will be sure my fuel is safe with the 40s before I pill it up though since it is lean right now. But I am changing the way the nozzles spray into the intake since I think the MAF is not getting good readings.

Generally lean makes more power, however the differences are slight and yes 13:1 is a little lean. Your 40's and 110 is right on the money, I have dual 40's at 115rwhp, so your dam close. Get that bad boy jetted up and tune the a/f and have some fun.
