Arrow LSX pics and info!!

i have some pics and ifo for people to help save some time and agrivation.

first off everything is all set on my setup. the machine shop did a great job.

issues i found tho.

1. i was missing one pipe plug for the rear (had one at my house)

2.the bolts they sent me for the lifter retainers where to short.(went to home depot and got ones 1/4" longer and done)

3. the cam plate gasket was pain in the *****!!!!

4. the suplied bolts for the cam plate stuck out to far, and hit my timming chain. (4 of them required fileing them down to clear, easy fix but needs to be adressed)

other then that, so far so good. my damn timming chain was loose as could be so i overnighted a new double roller so i will have the motor done tonight, and probably set in the car.
tommorow i will get the tranny in and exhaust made and saturday i should be able to fire it up

Man thats what I call getting it together.. Thats trooper style right there. Just be carefull. Those late hours hustling have always nipped me in the long run. Something always get over looked. Then again I have bad luck also.

I wish you the best of luck. Your car has hit a new level over this last year with the nice engine bay and sweet motor.

14:1 compresssion sounds like a nice, lazy pump gas motor.

Hoping to break into the 13s this year???

Jesus christ that car would scare the ****-all outta me. Can't wait to see it running

thanks again guys.

we are working on the tune, looking at a SD tune. we'll see.

last nights progress was good!! i was out till 2:30 messin around. to work at 8 am (an hour late. lol)

motor is in, intake on, valve covers on, water pump ect ect. tranny is in, converter bolted up, drive shaft in, headers in 99% of the wires back together.

im close, once im out of work, im going right home get the alt in, radiator, finish up my fuel system, rig up a t-cable, and start welding the exhaust up.

possably fire it up tonight.

man im sleepy, and i ran into more issues that gm didnt find, but we got over them all and got the motor all together.
