Default **PICS** Nitro Daves 85mm plate, stand alone, and more...

Here is the new set-up. It's a NX wet kit, purge, NX nitrous filter, FPSS, custom 85mm plate from Dave, NX auto heater, Nitro Daves stand alone fuel system, FJO progressive controller, and a Nitro Daves back seat bottle mount. It went in the car this last month along with a Rossler built T-braked RMVB TH400, ATI 8" 4000 stall treemaster converter, and a B&M Pro Ratchet shift kit. Dave made up my 85mm plate to accomidate my Professional Products 85mm intake, and Professional Products 85mm throttle body. With a 100 shot, the car put down 442rwhp through the TH400 and a Moser 12 bolt with 3.90 gears. Other than the juice, I'm running a small cam(.566 lift) and bolt-ons. Stock guts and heads. Thanks again Dave for all the help!! Here are a few pics. Enjoy!

266 lift cam? That can't be right? Maybe 566?

Default switch panel

Love that switch panel, I was already getting ready to buy that fuel cell. Are you all ready home from Iraq. I won't be until the 21 of July.

Sorry, typo. You're right though, .566 lift.

Get ahold of Dave (Nitrous Outlet). He made 5 of these 85mm plates a few months back. He probably still has a few.

Yeah, I'm home. I got back in May, and probably getting ready to go back in September.

The fuel rails come with the manifold. Professional Products makes them.

02SS, Any problems with your N20 setup after you went with the Typhoon? I cant make any power with mine, only gaining about 30 rwhp with pills for a 100-shot. It worked fine before the manifold swap, now I just get a pig-rich AF condition, but no bog. Also running Nitrous Outlet's 85mm plate.

No, not yet anyway. Mine actually made pretty good numbers on a 100 shot, considering its going through a TH400 and a 12 bolt with 3.90 gears. It made 357 on motor, and 442 with a 100 shot. I was running consistant 11.80's on motor last weekend with about a 125* track temp. Hopefully I'll bring it down in the 10's this weekend with a 100 shot.

I think it was worth the $$. I have my reasons for going with an aluminum intake. The biggest is probably the fact that there is a burst plate on the bottom of it incase of a nitrous backfire.

Heatsoak......bottom line, the thing gets hot enough to burn your hand, just like any other aluminum intake. I don't think its an issue though. Not enough to notice anyway.

02SS, what jets are you running in your plate?

01Black, check out my before/after dyno reports on the Typhoon in the Gen III engine forum, if you are looking for gains this thing will not produce.

Default Here is another 85mm plate install pic

Not threadjacking the OPs thread, just adding to the collection.
