Default Timing for a 150 shot

I have HP tuners and would like to tune the timing myself. I know that I need to pull between 4.5*-6.0* of timing out but my ? is, where so I pull it from? Only the max timing or all across the board? This is on a wet kit fwiw. Thanks for looking!

i ran a 150 shot without pulling any timing but now i pull 4 degrees using a timing tuner. i have a standalone now so i will probably put in 100 or 104 and may not pull any timing out.

Thanks. When you pulled the 4 degrees, was it across the whole timing curve or just at peak timing?

One would think .75 grams/sec and more. 3000 rpm and more. That area of the spark map.

That's exactly what I needed to know! Thanks! I'm new to the tuning game and was not wanting to play Russian roulette with my motor right now. What would be the suggested amount, 4.5 or 6.0 or anywhere in between? Another question is can I put the nitrous tune in and out at the track so I can run optimum both NA and on spray?

start with 4 degrees, may have to start pullin timimg out earlier than .75 gm/s depending on when you spray and the vehicle....

I bumped UP the timing--25* across the board. I do add a little 100 octane at the track though.

-4 degrees here. Safe is best unless you are rich.
