150 wet??????

Default 150 wet??????

Alrighty guys who is spraying 150 wet with the stock fuel pump with just bolt ons only. No h/c just basic bolt ons. I did 125 shot this weekend at the track i ran 12.1 @ 119. I vaporized the tires in first. My 60ft was 2.10 Now i have the 150 jet and im itching for 11s. Let me know whos doing and how its working out for you....

been doing it for a couple of years. made 481 rwhp and ran 11.397 @ 120.96 in the wife's car. stock fuel pump, stock injectors, stock lines, all stock fuel system.

man get a tire on that car.... get that 60ft down and ull be 11's easy with the 125

like transamfreak said get some tires 1st so u could drop ur 60 and u dont even have 2 use the 150 shot stick with the 125, just get some tires and get it 2 hook and ull be in the 11 with no problems are u m6 or a4

im auto 3000 vigi stall. I i have nitto drag radials on it and i still cant get it to hook. And the stall is loose as hell to . 3.23 gear stock rear end.

Whats your tire pressure? Do you still have your front sway bar?

ditch the nittos. get some mickey tompson et street radials. you shouldnt have a problem hooking. nittos in my opinion suck

^^ yeah nittos suck. Anyway most 150 shot kits are designed to be used with the stock fuel system and stock timing. Having the aftermarket pump is just good insurance.

i thought when runnign a wet shot your pump should be changed????? and when you do a dry its recommended to do injectors.

Yes i still have the front sway bar. What exacly does the taking off the sway bar do?? I was running 22 psi in the tires

There's nothing wrong with taking the front sway bar off. I've driven around for over 2 years without mine on. And now, I drive with skinny's on the front.

removing the front sway bar does two things:
1) takes weight off the front
2) helps with weight transfer to the rear tires.

Bolt-ons, 4000 stall, 150 shot
Best so far is 11.07 @ 121, 1.56 60'

If you are serious about getting your car to hook, i would consider ditching your swaybar, and maybe try 18 psi in those tires before you just completely throw them out. Also do like a 10 sec burnout while staging. If you still can't get it to hook try some MT DR's.

i ran my nitto DR's on 12psi at the track! hooked like a beast!
