well, raced with my compleat new setup. did 2 motor passes, car needs alot more tuning with the solid roller, but with the 125 jets and pig fat with low timming, the car went
9.6 @ 140 with a 1.39 60'

im super happy, i see this thing running bottom 9's with a 150-175 shot

i did about 7 passes yesterday and all got better and better, and i did very small changes each time, i need a few more track visits to tune in the motor/nitrous, then a few to get the suspention working, and ill be good.

i fell asleep at the tree tho, i will need some practice there as well, im a little rusty, been a while since i raced

thanks guys, im real happy so far.
im going to try to make the next trip or 2 to the track all motor passes while logging the runs to try to tune the car.
then once its tuned in on motor, i will spray it again with the timming kicked a tad and dial in the tune for spray, then onto suspention.
i have a month befor my next race, so im hoping get to the track for the next 3 fridays and should be in a pretty good spot.


setup is a 427 lsx solid roller.
fast 90 ported m\by vengence, afr 225 heads (all custom for big springs)

When my car grows up I want it to be just like yours. What did it run on motor with the new solid roller?

 

i did 2 motor passes and both where 10.4 @ 129
i was off on the tune big time, and it was first time out with the 2 step, so im going to try this weekend to tune it in better on motor.

the car picked up for sure, but i have a bog out of the hole do to somthing with the tune.

 

Could you post a full run down of your cars setup or do you have a website or anything with it already posted? Thanks!
