Default Fuel Pump?

I'm going to be running a NX 150 kit on my 01 WS6...and I was reading in the Nitrous section about when running wet kits, I should upgrade my fuel pump....the only question is....which fuel pump is for me?

i did mine and it was a pita!!! it was a walbro 255 i had to drop the exhaust, phb, some other bar, 2 shields and then the tank came right down. then puliing the pump out sucked. also b/c i had to send my pump back 3 times b/c they sent it broke the first time, then missing a piece, and then the piece was broke. look up the trap door mod and i would recommend that. oh yeah and do it with someone b/c i did it by myself and the tank was a pain but luckily i only had a 1/4 tank. so good luck

It is basically a plug and play kit. It will require you to drop the fuel tank.....unless you want to cut a trap door in the rear hump of the car. I dropped my tank to put mine in. I would just do the racetronix kit and be done with it. The racetronix system is good for about 650-670rwhp is what we have typically seen. I'm not 100% sure on price every shop has a different price structure but you can expect to pay a couple hundred dollars.

I installed my racetronics pump and harness in a afternoon by myself and it was not that bad in my opinion. Just take it one step at a time, it's no big deal. The instructions that are supplied with the kit are VERY GOOD and they even have color pictures to help you even further. If you just take your time and read and understand the instructions before doing each step,I think you will be surprized how easy it is. Good luck!
