I just received my new Ramchargers timing tuner. I'm a little confused on the instructions though. I want to pull the full 12 degrees when the solenoids turn on. Do I just adjust the base to -7 and the WOT to -5 or is there another setting? The RTD adjustment is throwing me off I think.
Also, it seems you HAVE to use the nitrous cut-off function, is that true or can you turn that off all together somehow?
Thanks.

AKAIK you have to use the window switch. Also..the RTD function is what you want to use to pull timing while spraying. The BASE and WOT timing adjustments would have an effect during all driving conditions.
you change it the same way the base and wot is ajusted... there is another dial labeled retard.. i think it is by itself.. and you do want to use the window function especially if your running a wet system.. set it to 100 rpm before your rev limiter to kick off.. and the delay function is up to you.. i currently do not use it.. that is what i have it set to... works great for my setup..

Let us know how it works.. I am having a problem with my car not surging with it.. I am taking mine off to see if I still have the problem..

Lol...you must have one different than everyone else. There has to be four dials and 4 dip switches. The RTD dial is alone and not next to the others.
Anyways...it is simple enough. If its all wired up correctly and nitrous is activating at the correct RPM you should be all set. Now look in the box and it should have four dials. Two are side by side and are labeled in very small letters BASE and WOT. Then I believe to the right just a bit is another dial which is RPM and controls the "ON" rpm for the internal window switch. On the left side is the dial labeled "RTD". This dial will pull the timing you set only when you are activating the nitrous. It will pull out whatever you set from the map that is programmed into the computer at a given RPM. If you normally see 25 degrees timing at 4500 rpm. It will actually be giving you 22 degrees while spraying if the TT is dialed in to pull 3 degrees. the actual timing of 22 deg will not show up on Atap or Scanmaster. It will display what the computer is putting out. Look in the instructions to see what each value on the dial corresponds to the amount of retard. Dial it in...and spray away.
If you still not sure...try to be specific in what your not seeing.

Holy crap, I'm a freaking idiot. I didn't see the RTD dial AT ALL. It's up on the left side away from everything. I've looked at this thing a hundred times and NEVER saw it. Just disregard my posts from now on, I'm stupid.
Thanks for the help, it all makes sense with my new found dial.
