Default dynoed on a 150 tnt

car made 382rwhp on motor (stock bottom end lq9 with stock ls heads and a 236/238 605/609 @ 112lsa cam). Sprayed a 150 shot tnt and the car went dead rich (i believe i have 46 nitrous and 24 fuel on both sides i have to double check) a/f was 10.9/11.1 all the way across. I rev the car to 6700 on motor and on the nitrous run i let off at 6100 and the power was still climbing HARD. Car put down 494rwhp....bottle pressure was at 875 or so so im going to try it at 1000 and then see how rich/lean it is

when the car was untuned it laid down 334rwhp and went 12.2 @ 113 so hopefully i can go 11's on motor and 10's on spray once i fix the little issues

i am running a stock block as well its just a stock 6.0L iron block but its still stock rods, pistons, and crank. I also have stock 243 heads.

BTW i think i found out the problem....bottle pressure was only at 875 i think thats why it went so rich.

Ahh...well I wish you luck with that...turn up the bottle pressure and see what happens...I can't spray my car yet...cause my O2's are messed up...and I'm running really rich...but I keep getting Lean codes...so I gotta replace em...

TNT kits always run rich. I guess they are playing it safe. I sprayed my cam only car with their 150 jets and made 440rwhp/660ftlb and I was bad rich. So we swapped out the fuel jets from 24's to 23's and my car made 513rwhp/646ftlb. I couldn't believe it make that big of a difference.

Dejavu I just posted about this. The same thing happened on my car only thing is I am running so rich my AF wouldnt even register on the dyno so its richer than 9:1 I have gotten some 22 fuel jets and will get it back on the dyno this weekend. Ill post up results. Oh ps NX jets will work in the TNT kits, thats what I did.

whats a good rule of thumb to carry diff size jets around? get 3 down and 3 up from what you have already? like a 21 22 23 --24-- 25 26 27?

one more question, pretty easy, when you say the 23 jets, you mean like .023 right?

http://www.shopatron.com/product/par....56.9414.0.0.0

is that the one that i need? x2 of course

Yes, .023

I'm having the same problem a couple people are having in this thread. Used the .024 jets and only made around 120rwhp on a 150 shot. My mechanic is going to make me some .023 and .0225 jets and hopefully that will bring it up above 140rwhp.

I would up the bottle pressure and try the .023 jets. I think that will give you about 520rwhp.

im gonna leave the 24 jets in and raise the bottle pressure to 1000-1050 and try that because with more bottle pressure it will lean it out.

you may want to jet it down because my bottle pressure was at about 1050 psi on my runs and I was still rich. I also have the racetronix kit I dont know if thats why im running extra rich or not? Like I said ill be redynoing with the 22 fuel jets on sat ill try to post up to let you know the results

My AF was litterally off the charts it was so fat the wide band couldnt even read it. So im hoping by jetting down it will bring it within a readable level and ill post up my results.
