Default 200 shot

Iam just wondering if I will need to step up to a -6an line to get 200-250hp worth of nitrous. I ran the car with a 200 shot but didnt dyno it with the 200shot but im wondering to get 200rwhp or so will I need a -6an feed line. Iam also spraying through a dynotune single nozzle with a .80 and a .46 maybe running alittle on the rich side. Will I have to get bigger feedlines running to my nozzle maybe -4an. The car feels good besides me needing a better tranny to handle the spray wont complete the 2-3 without me letting off. So im just wondering in advance will I need to get a bigger line to get about 200rwhp or will my -4an cut it. Thanks.

Dynotune says their single nozzle is only good for a 150 shot (175 is pushing it). The 3an line is only good for 150 -175 so you would need a 4AN line reduced to the 3 at the end of it. 4AN feed line is good for a 250 shot but a 6an would have less pressure drop. So I would say you should go to a twin nozzle set up.

A twin nozzle setup will give you a better approach to a 200 shot. The orfice in the dyno tune nozzle is smaller then .080.

So I could go with 2 single nozzles with 2 -3an feed lines? Btw I thought the dynotune nozzle was rated to 225hp but you are probably right. If I got another nozzle I would just need a 2 tees and 2 more -3an lines right? The twin nozzles with straight -3an feedlines would work fine and flow over 200hp.

Yes that is what I was going to do then I decided to go two stages instead.
If you are running the dynotune lines I would get 2 more from them then get two 1/8" pipe tees.

I would def run 2 nozzles -6an feed, tee'd into -4an lines with the -3an nut on one end. Might as well do it right the first time.

P.S. Im selling 2 TNT wet nozzles if your interested PM me.

Ill probably just buy another dynotune nozzle as they accept nos style jets and I have alot of nos jets. I dont have the dyno tune lines so what I will do is ill just buy 2 -3an feed lines and 2 1/8npt to -3an tees.

I bet if you go with the twin nozzles and jet them 100hp each you will run a quicker time then you did with the single nozzle and .080 jet

Your proably right btw the time in sig was on a 125 shot through a nos black nozzle and I was making 437 rw at the time with the dynotune nozzle and alittle bigger jets I picked up a decent amount of hp and now the trans wont shift into 3rd gear so now im planning on getting a 4l80e.

You can get away with -4 for the 200 shot. Anything more and you'll need the -6 to get the most out of it. I think -4 with a 200 shot is right on the edge of being too big of a shot.

Under ideal conditions a 4an line could support a 400hp shot. If your t'ing into 3 an lines your 4an will be fine (make sure the noid is not the restriction). I have been to 285rwhp dual bottles, single 4an supply and 4 nozzles in dual stage, so you can see it'll work fine. Mine is prob limited in the 300rwhp range because of all the restrictions ie: extra 90*'s, a bottle "Y", and 2 "T"'s.

Yea Im probably going to keep my -4an feedline for now. What ill proably do is just get a tee and attach a -4an line with a -3an fitting on it and run that size line from the solenoids to the nozzle. My solenoid will flow 400hp its the Nos super pro shot and my fuel solenoid can flow like 300hp its the nos cheater.
