I guess the amount of engines you've built means you know your ****? Everyone and their brother can put together an engine, it isn't rocket science. Design your own engine, build that, then you've got my respect.
You asked a stupid question anyways. There is no definite amount that a LSX can take. I guarantee you I can find an LSX can take a 300 shot everyday, and I can find a LSX that will blow a piston with a 100 shot the first time. And all you tell us about the build is that it's a 383 with stock type heads? That doesn't tell us anything, how do you expect anyone to have a halfway decent guess at that? And you get 2 answers, and say thanks? What did you learn from those 2 answers? I'll tell you what, if it was my car, I think I'd do a bit more research than 2 answers on an internet forum.

Look buddy, you were the first one to throw stones, I simply replied to your rude comment, as for the question of the engine, I simply asked what kind of hit will the stock type heads take without losing head gaskets all the time, most everybody else realized what I was asking, but some people don't get things others can plainly see...You showed your true colors with your first comment. By the way, EVERYONE and their brother can build and put together a winning USAC or NASCAR or INDY car engine? If thats the case, why aren't you and your brother doing that for a living, there is a lot of money and prestige in it...
And if you are wondering, YES I have done these things, I worked for years at Ed Pink racing engines building USAC and INDY engines and built many NASCAR engines while I owned my own machine/speed shop. The only reason I need this question asked is so I don't have to do the testing myself, see that is called "using others experience to speed my progress". You might try it rather than trying to find out if everyone can read or not...
As for the people who actually want to help here I am still looking for as many people's opinion's as possible, preferrably from experience if you can. Thanks and sorry for the B.S. between myself and the jerk off who does not want to help anyone.

I'd also like to see some pics of that Fiero. Sounds like a little beast.
Ask and ye shall recieve...
Mine is the one without the crooked nipples!! LOL
O....k....
Here's the PM I've been giving the people asking about my car:
It is a 88 Fiero GT, factory leather and 5-speed. So the last year Fiero, with a great (If not the best), option package. The stock 135hp 2.8l OHV V6 can't do much very good. It's heavy, unreliable, beyond slow, gets poor mileage, and isn't easy to work on. So I did an engine swap, putting in a brand new 3.4l DOHC V6 from a 95 GTP Grand Prix, which made 210hp/215tq stock, and weighs about the same. From here the engine got torn apart (It's hard to pull a crate motor down to the short block). It got a fully ported/polished set of heads, flowing 325in/227exh at 1/2" lift, 48g lifters (40% lighter than stock), A/C and Power Steering delete, Fidanza aluminum flywheel, Spec Stage III Kevlar 6-puck clutch, Davies Craig Electric Water Pump and Thermostatic controller (To be replaced by a CSR), a 96-97 intake manifold swap (Short runners, much larger plenum volume), a 75mm Northstar throttle body, custom tuned equal length headers (1.75" X 20"), custom Y-pipe (Dual 2.5"), and a 3" exhaust (All ceramic coated). Then added was a Garrett dual ball bearing GT35r, a TiAL Sport 38mm external wastegate, an HKS SSQV blowoff valve, an 800hp air/liquid intercooler, Split Second FTC1 for tuning, flow matched 42.5# injectors, Walbro 255 fuel pump, and some other things I forgot. I've done everything above myself, except for the P/P heads. I built the headers, I built the turbo kit, I built the exhaust, I will build the charge pipes, I did the engine swap (Including the wiring harness, custom poly mounts, everything). It isn't done yet, but I started it for the first time (N/A) a couple days ago. Pics so far:

Fieroz34 - Hardly ever see those anymore and I've NEVER seen one built like that. There was one, about a year ago, at the track. He only made one pass and was gone. If I remember correctly, he was in the mid 12s.. Pretty impressive.. until now.

Your wife isn't bad looking, but if I got caught with a pic like that online, I'd be livin the single life

What's all done to your Trailblazer? Pics of your 67? My Dad and I rebuilt a 68 Camaro a few years ago, then sold it to start on the current project--A blown 406ci 55 Bel Air 2D.
I was like everyone else, I hear Fiero and this is the image: "Driving up the highway, there it is, on the side of the road overheated. It's an 84 with a 93hp Iron Duke 4 cylinder, and a luggage rack on the decklid. You think it was once all one color, but now, it is adorned with 5 different body panels, no front bumper, headlights stuck up, and windows stuck down. The back end is still brown black and crispy from the fire a few years back, and remarkably, it still has one cast aluminum wheel left. Typical fiero."
But then a friend showed me a pic of the GT model, and I had to have one. So a year of searching, and I found it. You'd be surprised how many people don't even know what kind of car it is! But I'm really happy with it, and driving it is just amazing. I've never had as much fun driving a car before. I can't wait to open it up with 400+whp out back, it's going to be something else!
