Default My completed system *56K warning*

finally finished my dynotune wet kit. it has been working for a few months but i just got the time to make everything nice and pretty today.

i realize its not professional quality by any means but i think its pretty dam good considering my age/experience with nitrous.

please point out any mistakes or things that could be made better, or any comments in general.

No blowdown tube? I would also solidly mount you Nitrous soilnoid, and fuel niod too if its not, cant tell by the pics. Other then that it looks good, that bottle position if my favorite. I really need to move my bottle back there.

I'll throw in my $.02 on what I see could be improved....take them with a grain of salt! I would have put the solenoids in a more conspicuous place, used shorter braided lines so that they wouldn't be hanging out all over the engine bay, hidden the wiring/loom so it looked more like OE, and placed the nozzle at 6 o'clock so it would be more hidden as well.

Other than those things, looks nice to me! I used to have my bottle between my back seats like that!

looks good, might want to pull the little cellphone holder thing behind the switchs and mount the switch panel without the little holder thing. could use some small screws to make it look pro.

your 90% there, you just got the small bullshit stuff that makes it look pro.

I'd try to go "through" things instead of laying electrical and hoses on top of eveything where they rub or get pinched. It looks like you took your time.

nah, no blow down. nobody at the track has said anything yet so im not worried about it.

the solenoids are solidly mounted, the nitrous noid is on a bracket that is bolted to that frame peice.

i do wish everything was more stealthy/oe, thats something i will have to work on with time

and im still working on the switch panel, in the picture its not even secured to anything, it just kind of hangs like that.

thanks for the comments guys, keep em coming

maybe on the next empty bottle put the gauge on your side so you can see it better from the driver's seat...

the blow down tube ain't so much for the track as for your safety...
if and when that burst disk lets go,you don't want to be next to it....

how can i? the bottle is pretty much empty now, but i thought i would have to turn the whole assembly around, and that would make the siphon tube upside down.

and ya im gona need a bottle heater come winter, but for now i just roll the windows up and let it sit for a few minutes, that gets it right at 1000-1100 in 5-10 minutes

you need to get that thing installed man

Love where you have the bottle mounted....those are Nitrous Outlet brackets right? The ones with the rubber lining on the inside? How do you like them?

Man I'd hate to see what yall would say about my setup. His looks clean as hell compared to mine.

My only suggestion to you would be to shorten the length of line between the solenoid and the nozzle.

Looks great! Yeah you can always make things a slight bit neater but looks like you took your time and did it right!

Enjoy!

Man, with a line that long between the nitrous noid and no purge, you're going to have one soft hit.

i bolted the dynotune kit brackets to some brackets i made.
there 1/8 X 1 1/4 steel. for the fronts i used a hammer and vise and for the back bracket i used my thigh and an hour or so of shaping. i just drilled into the driveshaft tunnel and bolted them in.

the nitrous solenoid to nozzle hose is the one that came with the kit. maybe it looks long in the pictures but its the same length as the fuel line. i believe its 2 ft.

with the 75 shot pills spraying 3000-6000 rpm with 1st gear blockout i gained about a half second without being tuned. im going to bump it up to 100 and get a new tune in the future
