Default Whats your fuel set-up?

I just got my car back after trying to spray a 150 shot, I make 401rwhp on motor. I have a walbro 255 and everything else is stock, it ended up running lean. The shop said I need a better fuel pump, so I ordered a Racetronix kit. I was almost posotive the walbro would have been enough but turns out i was wrong. Is there anything else I need to do to ensure I have enough fuel for the 150 jets? They mentioned installing a better fuel filter as well.

stock everything except a lid I made 446/509 whp/wtq.

You don't always have to upgrade something, but sometimes you do.

Every car is different. I have seen one car with a stock fuel pump that could support X amount of Horse power and then the next car come no where close to that. This is why I say never go buy what someone elses car did with out checking fuel pressure.

The stock fuel pump can safely support up to 450 hp. A walboro can support up to about 500 hp and a racetronix kit can support up to about 650 rear hp.

I hope this helps..

The Racetronics kit for the vettes is just a repackaged Walbro, now the f-bods? the kit does include the hot wire kit, which will up the performance a certain percent, like upto 15%. Also, a return and reg at the rails can really help.
