Default Wet shot with stock bellows???

Guys I have finally started to install my wet shot. Where are you guys placing the nozzle? Are you using the stock bellows, or could this create a pooling issue? I have seen some pictures with the nozzle in the end of the MAF. But I am running a SD tune and would like to find some sort of replacement for the bellows and the MAF housing. Any ideas are appreciated.

I ran my wet shot through the stock bellows and hated it. I ran mine about the 3rd step back from the TB. It just seemed like I couldn't get the nozzles tight enough. I would come back from a run and one would always move around. I just got my smooth bellow in yesterday, and it is a much more secure fit.

I agree the stock bellows are not very rigid. I was actually looking at mounting my nozzle before the bellows if I can find some sort of pipe or tubing to use inplace of my MAF.

hey bro im also running a sd tune, i dont have n2o yet, but in place of your maf use a piece of 3" abs. you can get it at any harware store or plumbing supply store. it works great for me and is solid spot to mount the jets.

Thanks for the info guys, that will give me some info to go on. I will check at the hardware store on the ABS. I thought about going to a shop that sales the stainless semi exhaust and see if I could snag a piece of that stuff.

Ok this is what I found. I went to the local hardware store and did find the abs couplings. What they had was 3" with an OD of 4". That would not work so I found regular PVC 3" coupling that had an OD of around 3 5/8". I took that home thinking it would be close, dam it , would not fit it was too loose. So after ditching the plastic crap I decided to cruse down to the local exhaust shop with MAF in hand. Gave the maf to the guys and 5 min later he stretches and cuts apiece to just a hair over 3.5". That being slightly smaller than the flare on the maf.

Keeping in mind that the maf slid into the hard plastic of the air lid I needed to make a gasket of sorts to firm up the fit and to take up any inconsistencies. lol I found that high quality stretchable electrical tape to be the ticket. With this I could reproduce the slight riser/lip that the MAF had on it and also doubles as a gasket. With the clamps in place my made up gasket should stay in place with no issues.

this should give me a solid mount for my nozzle

home depot, get a furnco, 3" all the way.
Get home boil it for 45 minutes. Take it out slide it on your car, tighten the clamps let it cool and your done.

I bought a furnco 3" coupling to replace the stock bellows about a year ago. It didn’t fit very well due to the angle from the lid to the TB. But I didn’t try to boil it I actually nuked it. I think I will give it another try, the issue I may have now is at idle with the motor not idling so smooth it shakes a little. . Not sure if this will pull it of the TB or crack my lid.

Well, if the motor shakes a little bit sounds like its time for some prothane motor mounts. Fernco is good way to go i spray a 100 shot through my Fernco never had any problems. Took my nitrous kit off and just bought another Fernco heated it up and slid right on.

It seems most of you guys are putting your nozzles close to the TB. Do you think sitting it back where the MAF was is to far back?
