ill never tell.......

i am a firm believer in using tape instead of paste... using tape and making sure you wrap it in the right direction so that it doesnt bunch when tightening the line nuts will alleviate almost all problems associated with using tape... theres no way for it to get in the lines unless you wrap it with no common sense.

I get a rash of crap on here when I say that. I agree though. I had leaks everywhere with the paste.. and the waiting is BS. I start a few threads from the end, and like you said, wrap in the correct direction.. and don't use boat loads of it either.

+1

Oh, the install looks great too. Now everyone knows you have "nice noids".

with the dead water pump gives you a good excuses to get a EWP and gain some more power!

Unless you have freezing N2O going through there.. which is very cold.

Break off the piece of teflon, goes into the solenoid which sticks..

how is it going to break off of anything when its all in the threads? the threads arent what seals the joint.... its the taper and the force fit.

A lot of people overlap the tape onto the male end protruding into the female end. Im not accusing you of this.. but Im just saying that in general in this application it is better to use teflon in a liquid form to seal the threads. if you only seal the face of the thread, obviously there IS a path for the nitrous to leak. Im just poking at it, but nice install nonetheless.

Nothing like a Bad Azz, red, '02, Z06, 408 with a dual stage. But then again I may be biased. Nice job, something to be proud of. Now go get some times and post em up on the Z06 Fast List.
