I had my bottle filled two wweks ago with 6lbs. (all they had) i ran three passes spraying a 100hp shot. I didn't spray till after the 60' and i turned the bottle off after each run.

I go out tonight to spray it some more and i am out!? How many passes should this stuff last? If this is right then i am apraying roughly 2lbs a pass?

Or did i get screwed by the shop that said they put 6lbs in it?

I thought a 100 shot would last about 7 passes in a 10 lb bottle. I have no idea though for sure.

it's a 1/4 mile and PSI is around 950.

I usually don't have good results from a ten pound bottle with less than 5lbs in it. I usually fill completely and only spray 5 lbs out of it and then re-fill it.

i try to but there are only two places here in town that fill them and one is always out and the other is a guy who runs a dyno and is only open nights and i work nights.


But how many passes do you get out of that 5lbs? Shot size? PSI? !/4 mile?

Once you have used 70% of the capacity, it's time to refill.

It will depend on how long it takes you to run the 1/4, and, what size shot your using. The best way to find out, is to weigh the bottle while full, make some passes, weighing the bottle every few, and see how many it takes to use up that 70%. Then in the future you'll always know when your getting close to fill time.
