The runner area on this intake looks humongous compared to the vic jr and gmpp. Even ported I don't think either would compare. I can't wait to see results out of it.
We will be testing this friday and sat so i will for sure post back my results and thoughts, give me till sunday for what i think.

you could not run an elbow on that intake, the intake itself it way too tall, there's no way anyone makes a hod that high, nevermind trying to see over it if someone even did.

I don't know. He said it's an inch and a half taller than the GMPP which is lower than the vic jr. I've seen people fit a vic jr with a pretty large elbow on there. The key is will it fit an elbow that flows well enough not to choke it?

I run the Vic jr with a elbo and a spacer. It is mildly ported and I flowed it with the elbo and TB attached to the head. Down low I lost nothing by .650 I lost 45cfm

It's worse with a ported Fast and a LS6.

The head gaskets did not even come close to taking the second time around. We tryed going rounds in are class hoping to limp it through the night so i wouldn't lose to many points. The end result was two burnt pistons from lack of water in block. We were two cylinders down on the last pass and still mph 148. We will be out in two weeks all parts are ordered and went with a diffrent gasket company so hope it holds together for the rest of the season.LSX will be in the works shortly.

That's good. When you said, "two burnt pistons" I thought you meant you melted them and scored the cylinder walls.

That's not that bad then if it's only going to take a couple new pistons. Still sucks though, good luck.

Sorry guys i will not be able to get it back together,Parts are to far out and weather is going to get pretty crappy by the time i get my stuff. We burt two pistons due to the tuneup being to lean. This motor wants fuel compare to the old intake and cam.I made a bad call on the tune not knowing that the combo made that much of a change.Motor was tuned N/A but my nitrous setups i was use to was to lean.We melted down at about the 1000ft mark and still went 151mph i know the car will go 160+ no problem once i get it sorted out.

I guess that's what sucks about living up there. It stays pretty much nice here all the time. The only unfortunate things are the current red tide that's making me cough and the freakishly hot 7 months of the year.

I still think I'd like to swing for one. Is there any time estimate on when we can expect them to hit the shelves? I just ordered my set of All Pros tonight and they're going to need a nice intake.

Sick looking intake!

Hey go over and raise the rev limiter on my car! I'll bring over a tv that will fit on your golf cart.
