Default Something (else) from Dave...

This isn't the fanciest thing you've ever seen but Dave and crew built it exactly like I wanted it. Photo doesn't do it justice either. This will look great sitting between the polished valve covers. Quick on the motor - LME Nitrous huffing 408 with a custom Futral Cam. Oh yea...this is only one of the two stages controlled by the FJO mini - the other is a 90 mm Nitrous Outlet plate. And yes...my company is Macon-Moore Performance since we don't advertsise here so that is just an FYI explanation on the fuel rails!!

Looks great, but I'm confused, how does it work with a fuel and nitrous solenoid on each rail? are the rails separated internally? or is there something that I'm not seeing

Each rail has one path for nitrous and one path for fuel

You can tell when you look at the bottom of the right side rail. It has two threaded inputs for solenoids. You can tell that the one on the bottom is on the left and the top one is towards the right.

PS: Looks pretty

Thanks - and yes the inner/upper logs have two length wise chambers. Note this too...when I sent the fuel rails to Nitrous Outlet they were anodized red. I have a black car with no other colors to speak of in the engine bay. Just chrome and black.

It should look good on this...

I'm new to direct port and I know I see it alot, but wouldnt it be safer to use one fuel and one nitrous solenoid instead of two each? What happens if one nitrous solenoid doesnt fire or one fuel solenoid doesnt fire? I love your setup by the way.

Hey Macon, since your 408 is still waiting to be planted, i thought you could foward your intake to WA state for some testing on my 408, as it's being flogged now?

Sure there is a higher potential for a part failure. If I learned one thing about nitrous systems it's maintanence. I have a tool to disassemble noids. I have had one purge solenoid get some moisture in it from not capping off my purge line. It doesn't take much to inspect and check the noids. Just do it.

We have to get two cars finished before mine can go back into a bay. Patience is difficult some days.
