3800-4000. It'll still move out on motor and get violent on spray.

Just run a tighter STR and you won't have any issues with street cruising.

oh yeah its a daily driver so about 3800-4000 what kind of diameter, 9.5 inch? 10 inch? i think iam going with a fuddle converter ! and i will most likely be running motor more then the spray so i dont want something that will just run if i spray! i want it to run strong on motor!

Then go with a bigger stall. 4000+.

Matt D. on here has I believe a 4400 in his bolt-on car and he street drives it everywhere.

I've always been a fan of big converters for LS1's. They love them. I had a Fuddle 4200 for my car(built a th350 but sold the car before I put it in). Anything below a 3600 feels like it's stock...It's weird.

Lot of people say the Yank SS3600 hits about like a 4000 from most other companies that make torque converters and it has decent street manners. That's why I bought 2 of them, The first one was messed up when my stock tranny took a dump. The new one has been in for about 2 1/2 years now and I like it a lot and so so most of the people who own them. Customer support has always been really good for me, as well. With your gearing, I would go over 4000 for as daily driver. Just personal preference ... hell some folks on here would go 5800 on a DD, but, most would not do over a 4000 for a DD IMO.

Definately go on the tight side. With 3.73's and a 4spd auto, you'll be just fine. It's a pain in the butt if you start innefficiently blowing through the huge torque peak that nitrous creates. John at Fuddle calmed my 5000 stall down to a 3000 and HOLY WOW does it pull like a beast now on the hose... On a 150 shot it's flashing past 4000 and REALLY 60 footing well. The 200 jetting is showing to be near perfect also. My 5000 was turning into a 6000 on a 150 shot and it wasn't impressive. A lot of noise, terrible 60 foots and bad MPH gains...If you read a bit more, 4000+ will be too much on motor if you shift at 6500. 4000 is cutting it close and on the hose it will definately be flashing well past the torque peak. I'd shoot for 3200-3400 and definately mention that nitrous will be a factor in the combo. My .02!

Goodluck!

Buy my converter I have for sale, it will kick *** on your setup and hold anything you can throw at it.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sale/779328-4l60e-core-trans-cooler-built-3200-stall.html

I swapped to a 4L80E trans and am parting out my old setup.
