So I am not hitting 100, or even 150 wet... and without a throttle switch.. Or window switch..
I am hitting it manually. OF course between 3 grand and 6 grand.
![Devil](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_devil.gif)
I hit it with the 75 towards the end of the night thru 2nd and 3rd, but car would not shift out of 2nd. LOL... Had to let off gas to allow shift.
First I was like crap WTF....
Now after looking over car..
I WILL BE ADDING SOME tranny fluid. LOL...
Forgot to b4 track.. It was low but worked.. somewhat... You can see my drinking that night b4 racing.. LOL... so that is where I was.
But yeah..
99FRC.. I will hit you up.. I am getting out there to do some running and testing and some *** kicking.. LOL
I am getting down hitting 100 shot in all gears. So I can hit it all the way down the track.. See what I can do.
Bunch of us are gonna be out there, so that will be cool.
Some fun running. Hit vs Hit.

If he has a 98, 01 or 02 LS1, which have 28 pound injectors, he should be fine dry up to 100 with minimum bolt-ons. He can upgrade to a wet later if he wants to go higher than 100. I have a Dynotune dry kit also and will be testing my 50 this weekend. I have a Dynotune WS/TPS, purge, LM-1, and FPSS. I will step up to 100 once I get my Textralia clutch.
If you're gonna get a new rear might as well get a 12 bolt since you have an A4.

15 years ago.. LOL..

So I have been playing it safe to not blow anything up. And I am hitting 100 dry for the fact I am not getting my hptuners until around december. Which is when I will upgrade to wet, and get all the goodies I need to support the wet hit... like fuel pump, injectors, tuning. etc.
But for time being my budget was 500 dollars. So I got a dry kit, set it up, and ran the night on a 50 shot to make the wife happy that I was not going to blow up my new car that I have had for only 8 months.
Now I will be hitting a 100 dry shot, in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Had to play around and feel safe...
I added transmission fluid.

Hey Blade, great runs last weekend. I got the HPTuners software, and picked up a mailorder tune to start with. Looking forward to a rematch on the 1/4, hopefully I can get a 60 better then the 2.1-2.2 I was getting LOL.

You can get better, shoot both of us should be doing better then we are.
But you know the drill.
Gotta get the new cars pegged out, and hitting awsome.
I killed off the rest of my bottle.
![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
I am believing that I will definitely need a window switch for hitting it in 1st gear. I am trying to do too much manually hitting the switch. My car is waiting for me now. LOL. To change gears.
But yeah, we have to put a good show on @ the 1/4 run coming up.
HAVE TO KILL CSX in the 1/4 mile coming up.
WAIT..
I will kill the CSX ... stratman... in the 1/4 mile.
I am going to go to performance auto supply and see what I can buy to add to my car.
Plus need a new fitting for the solenoid.

Your car will be fine up to a 150 dry. I've had two cars with that shot with no problms just pay attention to how your car acts. I have a tnt kit on my car 150 shot stock everything and its doing fine. These cars are tough, well motor wise anyway if you have a stock rear end on some tires you better be lookin for something like a 12 bolt or beef up your stock one or you will be broke at the track.

Last night I ran a 8.6 in the 8th sprayin a 50 shot at 4300 rpms. I tried to spray lower but my clutch was slipping in second. I'm still working on that 60 foot, I can't get below 2.0 or 2.1.

Also, BTW.. Found out why it was not hitting good. Well long story short, the night of race, could not get connector sealed. used buddies solenoid, which is rated for 100 shot. Also was around 5 years old. dont work that good.
My good, brand new dyno tune noid in there. OMFG. I am out to kill some *** now. DAM.
Here is pic of mount.
I will have some awsome video for the 20 th, 1/4 mile run. Where I demolish these guys.

Who that I was going to blow my **** up?? NOPE, taking alot of safety precautions to not blow my engine up.
That is why I started playing with 50 shot, then figured that was fine, put in 75 shot.
Had the issues with it not feeling good,
Remembered that the solenoid I was using was a borrowed one from a buddy, so put mine back together, and the new one worked awsome.
Sprays alot more, its now like a fogger.
I kept my car between 8.6 and 8.7 with hitting a 50 shot, and not hitting a 50 shot.
So the night of me talking **** to my buddy, well I did not hit that good at the track.
Now I have it ready to rock. I will be seeing what the car will do at the 1.4 mile track.
Now that it is all tuned in, and ready to rock.

OK, so got my stuff more right.
Got to Ennis 1/4 mile run yesterday for FAST saturday.
Got my car the best I am going to get it. At this point in time without doing a little more.
I run automatic.. 02 Z28.. 4le60.... what sucks is 4th gear is OD. At WOT, car will not go into OD. My 3rd gear is topping out at 110 MPH, and I only got it to shift to OD once, and that was letting way off the GAS..
But had some great runs all day.
15 runs, only lost 3 times. WOOHOO...
![Chug! Chug! Chug!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_chug.gif)
2 times was to the STUPID Dodge CSX again.. MY BUDDY... He now has that dumb dodge running 11.9's....
I couldnt get him.
Here is my runs now. Compared to my beginning post, much better.
R/T.... .346
60'..... 2.016 ( still cant get that thing in the 1's.. but oh well.
330.... 5.492
1/8..... 8.324
MPH.... 87.56
1000.... 10.726
1/4.... 12.729
MPH... 111.35 ( This is the run I got it to shift to 4th... got over 110)
![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
AND THE below is what 5 of my other runs looked like....
R/T..... .086
60'.... 2.115
330.... 5.595
1/8.... 8.436
MPH... 87.41
1000... 10.827
1/4.... 12.823
MPH.... 110.75
and then the others ranged from 12.8's to my tank being empty, 13.2's.
worst was 13.4, no N2O, and playing around trying to get 4th to hit.
I looked up and found out that at WOT, the car will not shift into OD.
Anyone know what can be done for this?????
![Bang Head](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_banghead.gif)
AND ALSO.. I am not hitting right out the door.. Trying to stay away from beating up tranny too much.
Only hitting 2nd and 3rd.. Which seems fine to do... 1st is too quick of gear to hit in...
At this moment in time where my car is....

If you see the video on the link I had put up... When I called my buddy talking trash to him..
I was drunk the night before we went racing...
My tranny fluid was low the night before,
so since I was getting tore up the night before racing, I forgot to put the
tranny fluid in..
Then the next day didnt think about it, and headed to the track...LOL
I dont drink and drive.
Not a good thing.. Seen too many peeps mess their rides up that way.

are you running 4.10 gear? you shouldn't be topping out in 3rd unless you're running 4.10.
4l60e not shifting into 4th at wot does not sound good.
check your tranny tune.

I am in the process now of trying to figure that out..
Wise of check the tranny tune you are saying... What do you mean by that.
Pull it up on HPtuner??? if that is what you are talking about, then I have it pulled..
I just dont know what to look for...
I have seen that my shift points are 1-2 6000.. 2-3 6000.. and 3-4 some odd crap like 5704... but I have not dug into it that much..
So any information on what to look for would be great... I am gonna check the driveshaft to wheel ratio tonight when I get home....
I guess that will be a good way to tell..
