Default Quickblades tune

Here is his tune, in case anyone who has hptuners can help. Also his logs from one of the runs. My guess is someone has been in his ECU and mucked around a bit. I will let the pro's comment, without a wideband, I can't help much.

Your speed limiter is set to 110 mph. Probably why your only trappin 110-111. That limiter will cut fuel at 110 then your in trouble on the bottle (Lean big time). Your timing has been increased in spots from stock and the tranny has had many adjustments from stock. Fans changed also. Also set for 3.73 gears. And why's your rev limiter set to 6000. I hope you have a window switch. You've got to be hitting the rev limiter and speed limiter. Your log shows you hitting the rev limiter at 6000 (stock is 6200) and your run was only to 111. Your tranny is shifting from 1st to 2nd as soon as it hits the rev limiter. Your WOT Shift RPM vs Shift Table shows your 1st to 2nd shift at 6000 rpm. I'm no tuning expert by any means but this looks like a time bomb while running nitrous.

Looks like you stopped spraying just a few mph from hitting the 110 limiter. Also a good thing you didn't spray till 2nd gear so you missed the RPM limiter at the top of first.

I have been mentally studying when to hit it.. sounds funny but what I mean is I been being safe on hitting it.. Till I gather all this information, and see what the hell has been done to my car before I bought it..
I bought the car with 40,000 miles on it, and was 1 owner... but they did not mention the tune, and gears..

I only found this all out today doing all the research, and looking at logs.
thanks alot for all this input..

I appreciate it.. and will use the information wisely....

agreed on the 110mph limiter, 3.73, fan settings are great
timing increased 3-4 degrees from 1000rpm to 6000rpm during wide open throttle - might want to take out a degree where it goes above .76 g/cyl between 3000rpm and 6000rpm because a little knock is registering.

your 3-4 shift is commanded at 103mph as low as 56% throttle... ok so that sucks *** because your 103mph comes on at 5200rpm - but you see it keeps going because its actually waiting until the programmed shift point of 5700 where you're hitting 110mph. the tranny tune looks like it was setup for 4.10 gear for the 3-4 shift... but your 2-3 was set to 5763rpm at the correct 69mph.
stock with 3.23 gear, your 3-4 shift should happen at 125mph (about 120mph with 3.73 gear) at full throttle and about 118 at 56% throttle which is 6000 rpm.
you're going to want to at least raise the shift points to 5900rpm on the 2-3 and 3-4 shifts.

your shift speed (time it takes to go from one gear to the next) has been sped up very very slightly, but the 2-3 shift is nice at .250 during wide open throttle.
shifts have also been firmed.

something i noticed about the log file is that your bottle pressure appears to be dropping pretty quick - was the bottle almost empty on that run?

She was empty.
