pulled the car in to do an oil change and check everything out befor this weekends race.
warm the car up, pull it on the lift get it up, and find water leaking.

so i c hecked it all out ordered a new gasket and yanked the head.
found the crack leaking again.
so its off to the welder again to see what we can do.

i will have the gasket tommorow so hopefully i will get it all back up and running tommorow. 3 more weeks of racing i want to get threw, then its time for new heads.

ps, cant complain to much, the car has a dozin 9.3-9.4 passes and about 10 8.9-9.1 passes plus an *** pile of motor passes befor it cracked.
its been cracked for some time tho, you can see the markings that it was leaking a little for some time.

the guy fixed them up pretty dam good if you ask me.
oh well, we'll see what happens.

i have half a mind to throw the 300 pills in it for this weekend. we'll see.

Contact ls2formula, i'm not sure if he still has 'em, but one of our buddies is tryin to sell a set of etp 225's, he had 'em on the car for a couple of weeks and swapped to afr's.

 

im on hold with buying heads. to late in the season for me.
and if i get them, they will be for the 6 bolt ones for my block. thanks tho
