Let me know if you do it too.

are you sure it works exactly the same? Sure it will regulate the same pressure....but will it flow the same volume as its TRYING to regulate that pressure as large volumes of nitrous flow out. There is more to a regulator than pressure.

Will it keep up with a 100 shot? 200 shot? 300 shot?

What if you run out of N20 and accidently spray Nitrogen into your engine? I know that you should weigh it after a few runs but you know the is always gonna be some dumbass that forgets to weigh it. (probably me) LOL

nothing will happen except the car will run like *** while sprayin. The nitrogen will inhibit a portion of the combustion.

I ran a nitrogen push from like 2002 to 2005. I was pretty good about not getting too low...but it still happens. When I did it...it wasnt even as bad as running a wet kit on fuel only. Just way down on power....and you knew you were empty.

So thats an affirmitive.

Good deal man, I can't believe that I'd never heard of this before. I started gathering up parts today.

Thanks for the info.

if someone threw together a bare bones nitrogen push system and sold it out of their garage for a discount, i'd be all over it.

Read the sticky's in this section. It covers how to make one yourself...its not bad at all.

But guys...If I didnt have access to all my parts and unlimited hoses and tubing etc...id be all over a NANO setup. Its very well packaged and well designed. Im willing to bet they have pretty good customer support as well. I almost started making these out of my garage about 4 years ago...but I would have to charge the same as NANO or more to even make it worth while. And there is just too little demand IMO. Id rather make it known HOW to make one yourself for the guys that are semi experinced with compressed gasses. That info is in the sticky and also do a search as well.
Everyone else may be better of with NANO.

If someone COULD put together a kit for around $250-300...youd be crazy to sell it for less than $450 or so. And then your in NANO territoty anyways.

I made a few kits for my local freinds here in the Tampa area...but its just not a huge demand.

Is there some kind of quick disconnect to hook up? If I did this it would be say a single 5lbs Nitogen bottle feeding two ten pound N2O bottles but I would still need to be able to hot swap bottles every few rounds. Even with 20lbs of juice I would need to change bottles every 4-6 rounds.

im sure you could source a high pressure QD fitting. But typically you use a one way valve...a check valve. I used one from an aircraft high pressure hydrualic setup. I have also used a medium pressure home AC servicing port. But they are a littl restrictive.

For a 5 lb bottle to push two ten lb bottles all the way...that 5 lb bottle is gonna have to have some massive pressure...probably more than the bottle can handle. You might try a a 5 lb bottle to run a single ten lb nitrous bottle. That way youd have to be probably around 2500-3000 psi to do the job right.

How does one adjust the N2O to the pressure needed to run? Whether it be 850, 950, 1050, etc.

All I'm seeing is an one and off valve, a few small ports on the valve, and a gauge along with the line and check valve.

I havent used a NANO...but it appears they are using a regulator to adjust pressure. In that case you just turn the **** till you reach the desired set pressure. Pretty easy.
