Yep, ran it on my TBSS, and my formula and LOVED IT. Only reason it came off was because I sold all my nitrous to go turbo.

they are legal for use at both NHRA and IHRA facilities....but you will have to check with individual class rules for competition.

Seems like a good product. I wonder if there is a way to make a home kit?

I mean it seems as simple as a valve, and they charge $500+ for it.

The Nano kit is alot more than a valve...and the cost looks alot more affordable when you compare it to the cost of 2 10# bottle and 2 Heaters.

So would that kinda be the equivalent? Two bottles at full pressure?

But it still wouldnt cost me $500 to buy another bottle and heater. Although I cant see that being as efficient as the NANO system.

alot of people run 2 bottles to combat pressure drop after a couple runs...with the NANO system your bottle pressure will stay constant the length of the run and is instantly ready when activated.

I am currently running a single 10# bottle ($179) and an 860 Performance heater ($210)....I am currently only able to get 2-3 full runs out before the pressure drop becomes a serious problem. I will be adding a Nano competition kit to my car in the very near future. This should approxmately double the # of runs I can make on a bottle.

Over time the Nano kit will pay for itself due to not wasting as much nitrous...it gets frustrating to have 3-4# left in the bottle and not being able to make a run.

I guess it's up for interpritation. Here's the rule my track uses to ban it.
IHRA GENERAL REGULATIONS
Nitrous Oxide:
The use of any agents other than nitrous oxide as part of, or mixed with, this pressurized fuel system is strictly prohibited.

yes...read the nitrogen push sticky at the top of the forum. I made a system back in 02 or so that used a bit different configuration. I like my setup a little better. But the NANO is packaged and ready to go. Youll spend half the price in parts to make your own...but have twice as much work in it.

See thats what Im talking about! Its such a simple setup. No doubt about it, Ill be in touch for a few specifics to my kit, since Im still pretty green when it come to nitrous use.

Yes, read this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...0&page=1&pp=20

It's probably still a good idea to keep it though. Especially if you just filled or are close to full on a bottle and need to get the pressure up.

Thanks for finding that thread.

The heater is no longer needed with this system, when activated it creates the desired bottle pressure without warming the bottle. At least I got my head wrapped around that much

Is this system worth it if your only spraying 100-150hp? Meaning, after a couple passes at 100 shot, would the pressure drop be enough to warrant this over a bottle heater?
