Default Wet OR Dry???

What is better? Wet or Dry Nitrous? NX has a MAF wet kit that I really like and its like $900 bucks but is the wet kit better than the dry kit? Help me out, i want to put my LT1 on the juice. Thanks guys!

try the search first. it seems like ive seen eleventy-million of these threads. its like the same question of "whats better, this hood or that hood, this spoiler or that spoiler?" its going to come down to your personal setup, your budget and your preference. lots of guys will push dry, lots will push wet. i personally have a wet becasue i didnt want to dick with fuel upgrades. plus i wanted a wet plate that was sweet. i could afford it all so i went that way. however, my good friend has a dry setup and really likes it. so whos to say?

Well im not afraid to spend the money if it is worth it. Alot of people have told me that they like the wet kit more because it hits harder, but other people tell me to go with the Dry kit because it is safer? I dont know much about it so I figured I would pick some brains on here and get some first hand experience.

You should read the wet vs dry thread for insight, as some of your quote is really old wive's tales. NOS makes a nice dry kit for the LTx, and of course there are many wet kits to fit your needs. Now the wet vs dry on the ltx platform is different than the lsx platform. IMO, if I was to run one of the lowly ltx's (hehe Ellis) i would prob go wet, because the dry for ltx is a whole different ball game compared to the lsx?

I agree, I have an LT1 and run a wet kit. If I had a lowly ls1 I would run dry.

Have you guys used the NX kit that came out a little while ago. The one that uses the two parts of your maf? I like the way the kit is set up but i hear the NOS brand is a more trusted name.

I have been running the MAF kit on my 94 since 2004...it is a very nice kit.

We also have a plate kit for the lt1....

I also agree that wet is the way to go on the LTx platform.
