Thanks, I have the Accel Pro-Ram though. I'm going to do some porting on my manifold, is there anything I should do to help "make sure that no runner is on the far side of the discharge and not recieving any flow"?

This is the manifold I have. I'll try an get some pics of the plenum.

Ahh, true.

So if I could get you good pics of the runner location could you help in choosing the proper plate?

I at the moment I think I'd rather go with a single stage. Then later on, get carb manifold, convert it to EFI, and add a second stage of foggers.

NX offers the gemini in two ways.
Regular and propower.
The regular is 50-100-150-200-250-300
Propower- 100-200-300-400-500

Dave
So this is the one I would want if I went with the NX, right?

I was lookin at the speedtech plate originally b/c I didn't like the idea of the spray bars on the plate, the nx plate doesn't look like it has spray bars either, so I may go that way, I got some time to think about it. Gonna see if I can swing it as a xmas present, haha!

That's what i've heard from EVERYBODY around here, that's why I was lookin into it, let me know how it works out for you! I have a buddy that can get me a sweet deal on a kit too, so it would be nice!

If you have a converted to efi carb intake with an open plenum, why would you put that speedtech plate blocking the plenum with only 4 small holes?

The NX dual stage plate, is it a perimiter style or does it have spray bars on the sides of the plate? And how does the "dual stage" work? Turn off a 150 hp 1st stage and turn on a 250 second stage, or run them both on at the same time? 2 or 4 solenoids?

And can I use a carb type plate and just change the jetting for EFI?

I'm not positive but I think the Gemini has spray bars on the sides and the dual stage has a divider in the middle that is like perimeter style.

I guess you could turn off the first stage and then turn on the second but I why not leave it on and jet the second stage lower for a the same total of both stages together? Either way would need a pair of solenoids for each stage.

Ex: First stage of 150 turn it off and then turn on the second stage of 250.

Or

First stage of 150 leave it on and then turn on the second stage of 100 for 250 total.

Make sense?

And yes you can run a carb plate but with EFI jetting, carb plate with carb jetting and a regulator, or a standalone fuel system with a carb pump.

The gemini is jetted in increments of 100hp on the first stage and 50hp on the second.

And i dont think you can just run a low pressure plate and swap it to high pressure, not totaly sure though.

If the money holds out, I'm going to give Wilson Pro Flow Single Stage System 175-350hp 4500 to 4150 Adapter a try. Alone with a Accufab 4500 throttle body. I Got the Victor Jr. on Friday.

the speedtech kit we're running is on a standalone with c16 running low pressure, but the speedtech manual shows jetting and fuel pressures for both low pressure (carb fuel pump) and high pressure (efi fuel pump)...

i don't see why it would be a problem to run high pressure thru a plate kit, you would just have to get the pressure and jetting right; as with any kit...

How do you know the diff from the old plate to the new one?
