Figure about $800-1000 for a setup that is relatively SAFE.

Don't be one of those people that spends $300-400 on a setup and has problems.

my entire setup ran me a little over 1k. and i think installs run somewhere around 300-400? i could be wrong. its not bad doing it yourself, wiring can be tricky though.

You should be able to get a really nice setup if you shop around and look for deals for under a grand. I've got about $900 into my NX maf kit with a Gen-X-2 kit, opener, spare tire bottle bracket, maf solenoid mount, ashtray switch, Nitrous Outlet window switch and a HSW plate. I ended up selling my MAF plate out of the kit and put the money towards the HSW plate. I've also got about another $60 into all of my wiring and weather pack connectors. Everything I bought was new. I just watched for the deals and had the money ready when I found them. It took a bit longer but I was in no rush.

i have installed lots of systems....i personally love the NX kits. i love their bottle heater kit with the pressure sensor so it turns the heater on and off when needed. like it was said before, spend a little more for good stuff and you will be real happy in the end.

^ Werd, its not entirely too much work to piece together your own kit, just make sure you don't skip over the safety devices.

Prices will depend on if you are shoping for top quality or cheap prices... Figure anywhere from 800 to 1000 for a complete set up. Let us know if we can help in any way.
Thanks

Suspension is a smart choice. If it can not hook to the ground adding more hp is a waist of money.

One of the easiest things to do is to call one of the sponsors (like nitro dave) and they can explain everything to you and give you a ball park of what things will cost and what kind of safety equipment is recommended. As far as installation, you can definitely do it yourself but make sure you study all the diagrams on here (i think there is a bunch in the stickies) wiring can be really confusing. Especially if you add an opener and heater (which most people do)
