Default HSW kit questions

I have a HSW sudden impact wet kit for my lt1. I was wondering what you guys use to drill the huge hole for the nozzle. It has a 2 piece nut that is pretty damn big. Not quiet what I expected. I'd say its on the 5/8'' or larger size.

I just about have everything I need to get this system up and running for spring. I just ordered a blow down tube, HSW purge kit, HSW bottle heater, nitrous outlet switch panel (for bling factor) and a nitrous outlet tranny tunnel mount. Should be fun.

With all that my msd window switch, wot switch, fpss switch, and a 255 lph pump I think I am good to go. I told myself I wouldn't half *** this and I don't think I have lol.

If going into plastic we use a 9/16" drill bit...should be what you need. If going into a rubber bellow use a 1/2" bit and trim to fit for a tight seal.

let us know if ya have anymore questions or you can contact support direct:

If going into metal (such as your TFS elbow) you could simply drill and tap the elbow to accept the threads of the nozzle itself (and set the nut aside for a later use or a paper weight) .

That is a good idea. I think I will just do that. Would be a much smaller hole and no need to worry about the nut falling into the throttle body.

Yes, you would just use a 1/8" NPT tap:

If you do use the nozzle holder the nut is installed on the outside of the air intake, so there is no way for it come undone.

I just looked at it and your right. If it wasn't so large I would use it but I think I will just drill and tap the elbow since it will leave a smaller hole. Thanks for the help.
