I just did a head swap and cleaned up the wiring on my nitrous system. Got eveything back together and the car runs great without the nitrous system fuel line hooked to the fuel rail. When I connect the line to the fuel rail, the car will not start and almost floods immediatly. Im guessing either it is wired open or the silonoid is stuck open and needs rebuilt. Any advise would be appreciated ??? I have been fighting other problems to get the car running so I havent checked anything yet. Thanks guys

OK, I dont even have anything plugged into a key on hot source yet and it was still flooding. So my guess is that it is stuck open. Do I just order a rebuild kit?

Its Cold Fusion brand. They worked frine before my head swap but I guess its time for new ones or a rebuild.

FYI- A good way to check real quick if the solenoid is energized is to touch the top of it with a screw driver. If its energized the top of the solenoid will be magnetized. Little tricks of the trade....

BTW, I wish I was closer so you could do the tuning because I have heard awesome things about you
You may have just got some gas cut with methonal causing the plunger to swell. We do not support Coldfusion products however if you want to send it in we will open it up and check it out for you at no cost other than shiping to help you out.

I tihnk I found what is wrong. I had both of the wires on the nitrous noid grounded and probably both wires on the fuel noid hot, if not grounded. Ugh I hate wiring haha
speaking of tricks of the trade- open that bitch up yourself. take the nuts off of both solenoids, then take the plastic/ top part off of the fuel one (dunno the component's name but it'll practically fall off)
screw both nuts onto the fuel solenoid plunger and lock them together with 2 seperate wrenches. then stick a wrench on the bottum nut and take the sucker apart (unscrew it). inspect what everything looks like and post the results. not rocket science and as long as you are careful you won't **** anything up.
edit- if you found the problem nevermind...
