How much timing should I pull?

Going to get the car dynotuned and I'm an unsure how much timing I want the tuner to pull.
Car is a bolt on car with 100 dry shot and it will have 42# injectors by the time of the tune. I would prefer to keep the most amount of power on motor but then again I want to be safe on the 100 shot.
So how much timing. 1 or 2 degrees? None?
Opinions.

Less if you run high octane & TR6 or one step colder plugs. Add some 100 octane or NX nitrous octane booster for sure on shots that large. Higher octane or booster with colder plugs you can pull maybe 2 to 4 degree's timing depending on the tune. About 20 degree's on 93 octane & 22 to 24 degree's with 100 octane or NX octane booster & colder plugs. 24 with 2 steps colder plugs TR6 plugs 22 degree's. A/F 11.7 on nitrous also.
I was able to run with no timing pulled up to 100 shot on a stock tune/stock motor. 175 shot (stock motor/tune) I needed to pull 3 degrees. See if they can log KR, that can help you in just how much.
I would estimate 1-2 for a 100 will work for what you want to do. Better to check though to be sure.

On the small shots, most in the industry will say no timing pull needed. Though once you get upwards of 200 or more, then some pulled is wise. seems as we cover this about once a week. On my 200 and 250 shots I ran 18 degrees, on my 300 I run 14 degrees. Now, setting up your system with the most timng without knock retard is not the way to go. We melted down my ls6 with no KR, and was at 26*, but was a big hit. Remember, pulling timing is not just for safety, but also performance. N2o works it's best with less timing.

You don't have to pull any timing for a 100 shot, but pulling 2 or 3 degrees won't hurt any. If you want to run max timing NA and pull some out & add some extra fuel take a look at our Interface controller:

You shouldn't have to pull any on a 100 shot. When I had the HSW dry kit on my car it ran a best of 11.34 @ 120 on a 100 shot with the stock tune & bolt-ons only. My scan guage showed not a hint of kr. I also always add a bottle of octane boost whenever I spray the car.
do you all ready have a tune for the bolt ons? did they add timing then?
like most have said on stock timing 100 should be ok w/o pulling timing, but to be safe pull 2* make a run, if its fine add the 2* and make another

im running 24* all the time on my 150 shot but every now again it will get some kr. when my tuner comes back in town im going to have him pull 2 more degrees for safety sake. that and the 200 pills are looking at me and calling me names.
