Introducing the world's first Air to Fuel nitrous controller; The HSW Interface. With The Interface controller you can now easily fine tune your air to fuel mixture without the hassle of swapping fuel jets or worrying about the nozzle placement in relation to the MAF sensor on your dry nitrous system. In addition to full control of your A/F curve The Interface can also retard timing when your nitrous system is active, so you can now run full timing NA and make max horsepower & torque and then safely and easily pull timing when your nitrous system is activated. Unlike some other timing controllers The Interface will show the timing being pulled when using a scan tool, so no more worrying if the timing is actually being pulled. Adding fuel to a Wet Direct Port Kit (instead of wasting time changing fuel jets around)

Adding a little extra fuel to a Wet Kit to cure any "Lean Spikes" upon kit activation


How Does The Interface Work?

The Interface makes Air to Fuel adjustments using your Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor. Simply program The Interface as to what size shot you are running (adjustable from 5 HP to 315 HP in 5 HP increments). Full control over the A/F curve is now possible, allowing fuel to be added or subtracted. Timing control is done with the vehicles IAT Sensor. The Interface has a built in Diagnostics Mode & Safety Features. If the Interface detects anything wrong with the MAF Sensor it will not allow the nitrous system to become operational and trigger a Service Engine Soon (SES) light until the issue is resolved.

the harness that comes with the kit just plugs inline with the MAF sensor.

What If You Are Using Cust. Maf Tables For A Uncalibrated Gm Truck Maf

 

Sounds like a nice product and I like the plug-n-play portion with connectors. Price isn't bad either. If you remember the wet plate kit I have on my car, can I simply install this and program in the shot I'm running and it will take care of the rest? It will retard my timing for the shot and increase or decrease the amount of fuel? If you recall, I was running pig rich on my 100 shot (somewhere in the 10.1:1 area) so will this correct it a bit?

edit - just read the examples more closely, seems this may only help if my wet kit was running lean or have a lean spike which it doesn't. Am I correct?

This is used so you guys can run a N/A tune in the car and when you hit the nitrous it will automatically take out timing, so you don't have to keep switching tunes.

 

Sounds great but how do you program the unit? Does it hook up to my home computer or are there dip switches? Can I change the amount of timing that is being pulled for a given setting? Will the unit tell me the air/fuel ratio so I know to add fuel or remove fuel?

No prob on the MAF table, the MAF will need to be a calabrated one for your application.

If you wanted to run your LT1 TNT kit as a dry one this controller would control the fueling, or if you wanted to pull timing when the nitrous activates and run full timing NA.

Yes, that would be one use of the controller. You don't have to use the fueling portion if you don't want to, you could use it to strictly pull timing.

Switchs, no computer needed. All settings can be changed. To check A/F you would use a wideband O2.
