Not to be a dick, but a couple posts down the same question, yours at 2:28 and that one at 12:05.

I used to pull 8 on my 14:1 406 with a 250 fogger on it. I rac 36 on motor and pulled 8 through the msd on the gas. I would pull around 5-6 as a starting point. The 2-3 for 50hp is a start but does that mean on a 300 shot to pull 18? No. Read the plug and look at the ground straps for the timing line.
