Default Who runs a dry kit or a wet kit, what are your thoughts on both????

I have a 2000 TA with mods in my sig (racetronix fuel pump etc not listed) As of right now i am around 420rwhp... i am currently debating about adding a 50 dry shot on top of what i have to hopefully get me close to 480-500rwhp. I plan on doing an engine and FI build possibly as soon as next winter, this is just to hold me over .... I am of the understanding that the dry shot is the better of the two on the LS1 because it eliminates the chance of inatake pooling (i really dont want to blow up my FAST) what do you guys think? Also, the cam and everything i have is ok with juice? (i am completely new to nitrous as you can tell) thanks!

You do have less of a chance on a dry shot because you are using the injectors for extra fuel. If you plan on staying between 50-100 shot then i wouldnt be too concerned about having a back fire. You would be perfectly fine spraying a 100 shot wether its wet or dry.

All of our kits on still on sale for christmas. The plate kit (wet or dry) would be a pretty good investment. Mostly because you could get a pretty decent chunk of change on the resale.

I read through this thread and it helped me make my decision... https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...626209&page=22
It's really personal preference though. For what your looking at doing I'd go dry.

With the new products hitting the market, I really see absolutely no reason to go wet these days on the EFI/LSX platform. Do the research as has been suggested, then when you get closer to an opinion then you'll be able to fine tune your questions and pin point your needs/wants better.

Dont get confused by the guys that suggest fuel puddling. Most have no idea what they are talking about. The only way you will have fuel puddling in if your tune up is so horribly rich that there is not enouigh nitrous to break it up.

Both wet and dry have there advantages and disadvantages. Me personaly I prefer wet. The main reason is until the New NX dry kit comes out I have not really seen a dry kit that is as simple to bolt on and tune as a wet system.

Everyone has there own opinions

Our new product, "the interface" has made a dry shot much more simple to run. running with our plate kit will obviously elimate any chance of poor nozzle placement. From there you simply set the interface for the size of the shot you are running and it will also pull timing. Its about as close as it gets to a plug and play nitrous system. before this product came out my opinion was always wet because they are easier to tune, that opinion has changed.

also, at the price we are selling our kits you simply cant resist! incredible amount of technology has gone into this and you won't find another product on the market with this kind of quality. The price already includes the interface so you wont have to worry about getting it separatly.
