Default independant fuel system for spray

Im working on a foger setup for my 96Z. Plan on spraying up tp a 350 shot and maybey 400 down the road
Ive read some about an independant fuel system and like the idea. Also that I can run high octane fuel in the nitrous system and not the motor that will see a few street miles. Question is, Is this a good idea for my setup. Im thinking about a holley blue pump with the regulator and jegs has a 9x9x9 plastic fuel cell that I think I can work into the original batery compartment. Any suggestions? All are appreciated.
Thanks

Is the nitrous kit for fuel inj or for a carb.If it is for a fuel inj. car then you need a different fuel pump for the higher psi the fuel side needs. The kits are rated at a certain psi on the fuel side depending on the car it goes on.The holley pump is i think like 6-15 psi so you need to get the jetting for your fuel pump. The nitrous stays the same for the pills but the fuel jets change.hope that helps

I thought about piecing my own system together, but once you get everything and get it mounted, I just decided it was much easier to go with the Harris Speed Works system. It sure is nice and fits great.

You can run the small fuel cell with the Holley Blue pump and regulator....running Low PSI is not an issue with a dedicated as you would just use low pressure jetting in your dedicated.

I am using our batttery tray dedicated and it is currently at 11.5psi...

Thats what I was planning on going with, So the Holley Blue pump would flow enough for that shot.
That cell fits perfect in the Battery hole, Where can I get one of those?
Thanks for the input fellas

The nice part about the stand alone fuel systems is that you can run low and high psi. We offer kits that can either be run at high or low psi. We have two different kits, one goes in place of your fuse panel and the other replaces the battery. If you want to piece it together yourself you can definitly give a shot. if you have any questions while doing it, give us a shout, we would be glad to help.

we have 2 options for stand-alone fuel systems....you can relocate the battery or put one on the other side where the fuse boxes are located...both systems can be ran at either high psi or low.
info here: http://www.harrisspeedworks.com/shop...cat=373&page=1

battery cell:http://www.harrisspeedworks.com/shop...cat=373&page=1

as previously stated it can be run just on low pressure. let me know if ya have anymore
questions...happy holidays!!

Okay forgive my ignorance.

I am a boost junkie but am looking at doing a cam only car for a while. I have a LS6 intake drilled for a a direct port setup. I would like to run a dedicated fuel system for the Direct Port setup. I am assuming the engine wil run off the pump in the fuel tank, and the direct port will run of the dedicated fuel system.

Am correct in my thinking?
