Couple of wiring questions!
Couple of wiring questions! Guys,
1. Switched 12v sources, locations? I have a few that I use regularly on these cars. But Im curious as to where everyone else sinks them.
What are yours?
2. 14g enough for 5 switches power? Same with ground?
3. And your mounting your WOT switches where?
4. Inline fuses? The heater is the only one that requires one. But im tepmted to run a couple more.

Thats not a bad spot at all but after searching the topic there are some downsides to that location.
Mainly that it might not give an acurate WOT reading becuase all pedals a bit differantly.

Yes, 14g will be enough to power your switches so long as you do not have any high amp items hooked up to them and they will be controlling relay's. I installed two fuses on my 1 for all of the accessorie and 1 for the solenoids. Did not use a WOT switch just a trick performance based window switch w/tps control. Nitrous Outlet makes a nice little billet micro WOT switch that bolts on to your TB and is a lot more solid that the ones you fab up yourself.
I did not use a WOT switch as it is a bit redundent with the TPS portion of the window switch. Some people do if you to go that far with it. When you set up your window switch, you will have to press full throttle (with engine off) and the switch will record the highest TPS voltage and use that as your WOT activation point.

Arm Dry, Arm Wet, Purge, Line Lock, Opener (Heater is on the Trick Performance V Series gauge)
