Default Nitrous on 03 Cobra

Hey guys just want to start out by saying im new to this site, however Ive been reading forums on this site for months now. I was contemplating purchasing nitrous for my 03 Cobra but wasnt exactly sure what the best/safest route would be. It is my daily driver, but I was just looking for a little more to have some fun with. Any suggestions?

I also have a friend that sprays 100 shot with a ported blower. I imagine you would need the same things for safety as any car would. The kit, warmer, fuel pressure safety switch, purge, colder plugs, and a way to pull timing.

I talked to Manny actually and he leans more towards the turbo side of things so I switched over and went to Gearheads in Arlington to have all my work done recently(stage 2 clutch, flywheel, tune etc.) but now Im looking for something a little more and wondering the best way to go about it. As for the apparent haters of the Cobra guy on a ls1 site, I owned a 02 ws6 and absolutely loved it, unfortunately toalled it, saved up some money for over a year and went with the Terminator. Just love and respect American muscle of ALL kinds, I dont knock anything thats fast (Except for RICE!)

Im def thinking of keeping the shot 100 or under as mentioned before it is my daily driver, what all would be necessary to make a efficient nitrous setup?

Yea when I get back in town I might go talk to him to see what he suggests, I just remember him trying to talk me into a Twin Turbo setup that would more than likely take out the daily driver aspect I kept informing him of.

Is he kinda tall and bigger? Reason I ask is because the 1st time I went into Gearheads I talked to some guy, dont remember his name, that said he used to work at HPP and that gearheads does better work.

ive worked at both....every1 knows turbo is the best way to a 1000+ hp daily...but blower plus nitrous isnt far behind and is much cheaper...

I would say go with a dry 75 shot pre MAF and with a good tune and some injectors/pumps you will be making enough power/torque to never hook up on a typical radial tire, will be a lot of fun and with a good tire should see some 10's no problem!

I had a 2003 Cobra with a KB on it. Just go get a KB and you will be absolutly WOW'd! I made 630 on a Mustang dyno with 18 lbs of boost. Then if you want to go Nitrous, I would be very surprised.

Some good advise, and not trying to run you off, but I'd check out SVTPerformance.com. All the info you'd need you could search for in minutes, or make one post and not need anything else.

This is kinda like a ls1 owner going to svtperformance and asking which cam would be best for his application... ;-)
