Default Wicked DP Dry (not mine)

Isn't this one bad azz setup. Dry is gaining by leaps and bounds across the board concering EFI and other platforms besides the LSx, though this is still GM based. The interface would work wonders on this combo. I will have pics of mine soon.

I can see it fine, anyone else can't see it?

Anyway, I was just watching a video of a company (non sponsor) setting up a trick sheet metal intake for 5 stages of dry, yes, we said FIVE stages of Dry. A big dog racer for sure. watch for more and more guys running and/or changing over to dry. even the carb guys are starting to change over to Dry and EFI with an aftermarket PCM. I wish I knew how to capture some pics from a video as this intake is the baddest of the bad, IMO.

You have to be logged into YellowBullet.com to view it Robert. Try saving the picture, then uploading it to TinyPic.com.

Controllers man, and aftermarket computers like the FAST which is great for the older cars going EFI/Dry and a great marriage for those whom want new tech, not old school tech. Then there is the new generation controller named the "Interface" from Harris Speed Works, which you can find mucho info with a search here, as we have talked trucks loads about it's introduction. It is my controller of choice for my 3-stage dry with a 1st stage DP Dry which is being plumbed up on a Vic Jr single plane aluminum intake right now. Also, is the EFI Live COS 5, but don't know anyone using it for DP Dry, yet. Leaps and bounds my friend, leaps and bounds.

I will see if trouble is around the corner for link to a non sponsor video, as it has all the companies info and is really a promo for said company.

Here's a sneak peak at mine, not finished here.

I see it. Your new intake set-up looks pretty sweet, will it clear the stock hood?

You can shut the hood, but it hits and lifts the hood. Either shaving the elbow (not so good) or scoop/aftermarket hood will be needed. Can't wait to get the DP Dry plumbing done and some other engine bay goodies. Thanks though for the complement.

sorry off topic, but can you trim the inside of the hood? or maybe drop the engine mount 0.5 inches?

I am very interested in a dry DP. I just bought a nice iron block 12:1 347 and built 6spd for my personal car. The Harris interface looks promising. This is gonna be a fun racing season. Did I mention this is gonna be my street car too. I hope M/T get those 18" DRs done soon.

The hood has a center U in it and that's where it hits, prob would fit otherwise. Some guys have shaved a ¼" or so off the carb base, though myself am adding a 1" spacer for more plenum volume. Will be scooping my hood. Did you see the other thread with less restrictive elbows, but again hood needs to be modded.
