Default Spray out of the hole???

Will I lower my et's if I open the juice out of the hole?
In the video below, the MSD window switch was set at 4000 rpm,you can see it come on 5 ft. after launch. Please advice. Thank you,

With a trans break, good converter and a 2 step you could spray right out of the hole.

I saw your other post... You have a 3600 stall correct?

Trust me, lower the rpm too ~3400 and hit that bitch. Hold on though!

Well, I have a 4K stall and have it set at 3700... And that netted me the 1.45 60'.

Before I had another chance to test it, I lowered it down to 3500 to see if I can improve on the 60'. I guess I will find out this summer.

Thank you everyone! I will experiment w/the window switch, maybe try at 3000 rpm and then see what happens.
I better start saving up for a Strange 12 bolt w/ a spool! I have a feeling something is going to break.....Come on Spring!

Well, FYI.. I still have a 10 bolt as well... The A4's are alot easier on them than a M6...

I have cut 20-30 1.5X 60's and 2-3 1.4X 60's on my 10 bolt and stock drive shaft. I know its a ticking time bomb and plan on upgrading soon. But, it has not let me down.

Just control your wheel hop and your 10 bolt will prolly handle a few 1.4X 60's.

Yea, i was going to say to BOLO be careful as that 10 bolt could go anytime. I pretty much had the same mods and i sprayed out of the hole with an 80 shot and 60' at 1.56 but now my rear end whines like my gf now. I am not going back to the track until i have a built rear end. The 80 shot is gone, zex box just couldn't flow enough nitrous for me so i am going to get a plate kit sometime. Hopefully with a new rearend some stickies and plate kit it will put me deep into the tens

Use a small dry shot like 50 to 75hp right off the line at your launch RPM.
They are easier to hook as they don't hit as hard and you get an immediate boost. You may gain 0.5 to 1.0 MPH by the 60ft mark which is worth a good amount of E.T.

goodness....I told you we could spray it sooner, but risk breaking parts.

I did not know you had the trans done...so one area is covered.

I am game to try and break the 10 bolt opening day at the track

I hear ya there...I am just giving Butch a hard time.

The fear of hurting the car, yourself or others was always my concern. This is the main reason I put a 12 bolt in my car as well as my fathers is on order as mentioned in other thread.

We want to leave extremely hard and not chance breaking anything.

BTW : I am shocked about your DS being stock. The 1 and only time we sprayed my fathers car under 4000 the DS blew apart like it had a grenade inside.

Believe me, I am surpsrised the DS and the 10 bolt has held up. They car took off pretty hard with 1.45 60 I had. I am sure I had the tires up. I went to the track solo that day, so no one was there to get it on film.
