Does this thing have a first gear lock out? How do I prevent from shooting in first? Or do I just flip the switch in second?

You can either turn on the activation switch when you hit second gear or upgrade the window switch:

no, i have the same dynotune switch. it has two channels for, i beilive 2 stages of nitrous. you can program what gear and what rpm you want it to activate and shut off. not sure what you would do if you were allready going. i'm a drag racer so i spray on the 1320 only.

1st gear lockout... Is this for an A4 and M6? I'm currently hooking everything up and need a window switch but a 1st gear lockout on a M6 would work great.
Does the Dyno Tune w/switch work on a M6?
Oh, and I also need the Fuel/Nitrous jets for a NOS system. Anyone have any for sale?
Thanks

With an M6 you can place a physical switch on your shifter that engages the switch in 1st and is wired NC. That way when you are in 1st gear the switch is open and when you are in every other gear the switch is closed.

The switch will work well with either an M6 or an auto.
We can help you with jetting for you NOS system!
The switch will read the gear you are in as first gear when you hit the activation switch. We have customers that utilize the 2 stages in the window switch seperately. So they put in a switch and basically have 2 window switches in one! So you can set one to come on and shut off at whatever rpm's you want, and say set it to activate off the line. Then you can set the other at different rpm's and say start in second gear. Or start one in 2nd gear and one in 4th gear at whatever rpm's you want, the choice is up to you!
Hope this makes sense - if not feel free to give us a ring!

If you are rolling down the road, and you have 1st gear locked out, when you hit the switch, depending on WOT switch or TPS sensor, and you are not in 1st gear, but are at WOT, it will engage.
So like for mine with a A4.
I have 1st locked out with TPS sensor.. I am rolling down the street at around 22MPH, nitrous is armed, and I punch it, fact that I am still in 1st gear the nitrous will not engage since I am in 1st and it is locked out.
If I were in 2nd, nitrous not armed, and I flip the switch, it will not engage the nitrous until I am WOT.. or the TPS sensor see's that you are WOT.

We have a MPH activated switch that you could use to disable the nitrous below a certain speed (enable it above a certain speed). The MPH switch is our STOV-001. It can also be used to disable a 2-step/launch controller once the vehicle is moving.
The MPH switch takes the speed output from your factory GM PCM.
Here is a link to the instructions on our MPH activated switch.
Our MPH switch also has a 0-5 volt output for vehicle speed that you can use to provide a vehicle speed input to some nitrous and boost controllers (for progressive or staged nitrous or boost control). It also has the ability to give simulated pulses gear change outputs needed for some boost and nitrous controllers that are expecting you to have microswitches on your transmission for individual gear changes.

With the Dynotune switch you have 2 channels.
What you can do is set the first channel with gear lockout and low rpm of 3000 hi of 6000.
2nd channel set NO lock out, but a low rpm of say 4500-5000 and a hi of 6000.
Put both yellow and orange wires together from the window switch.
This way from a stand still you will not spray until you hit your 2nd stage LOW point. And when you shift and the rpms drop your first stage will be activating the system allow you to spray. Think of it as a first gear delay in relation to rpm.
This is just one of many ways to wire that switch up...
