Default nitrous question

I put my NEX kit on and went for a test today. The car runs fine without spray. When I get on it in 3rd and 4th and the nitrous kicks in at 4000 rpms it starts to act like it is missing. Anyone else ever have this problem. Any suggestions? I am spraying a 100 shot. When I turn the nitrous off it runs fine with no signs of missing. Please give me your input.

Is it wet or dry? Do you have colder plugs in it? Have you had it tuned?

Sorry. It is a dry kit, I am running NGK TR6 plugs and we have tuned on it with LS1 edit.

Using an FPSS?

Perhaps the FPSS switch is cutting the Nitrous off and on, if you have one.

Dry is pretty straight forward with the correct nozzle position. Have you cleaned the MAF wires (CRC makes a MAF cleaner available at any NAPA) to ensure they get good readings?

What mods do you have? What gap did you us for the plugs?

Heads, 238/242 112lsa cam, 90/90 combo k & n flpk zex dry kit with a 100 shot I believe we gapped them at 40 but don't remember for sure. When I run the car without the nitrous it runs strong, but when I hit 4000 rpm and the nitrous kicks in that is when it starts to sputter. Anyone have any idea?

i agree with everyone else. Check the A/F ratio. It sounds like a lean misfire to me. You could check the plugs color to see if you are running lean or rich also. If the porcelin is pure white you are running too lean. I would stop hitting it with the spray until you figure out what is happening. You might get into more trouble if you lean it out too much.
