Default Interface and EFI LIVE

I tried searching this, no help.........

I have a hookup for an inexpensive tune w/ efi live, is the interface compatible with an efi live tuned car?

Should work fine, tune the car for NA with EFI Live (VE tables first, then come back and tune the MAF), then set up the interface, when your spraying, the EFI Live logs should show you the interface is working.

I had issues with mine, some do, some don't. I was Ok w/ a 50 dry. A 75 Dry I went lean, log injector duty cycle, I saw 106% IDC on the 100 shot and went AFR high 13's and climbing.

I ended up getting 42 Pound Delphi injectors from Matt at HSW. My IDC is about 65% w/ 500+ RWHP to the wheels.

Log a 50 then up the shot. A wideband is a must to tune with any real accuracy.

Sure the Interface will work with any tuner program, and/or on it's own. like beer said, A WB is almost a must for the spray guys, or at least while tuning. Money, yea, wish I had more too, lol.

$150 is not bad, to add a license (unless your using a spare from when it was bought) to EFI Live is $100 so he is only making $50.

Robert your spending some serious cash these days, I used to be able to hear you squeak when ya walked (from being Cheap LOL) all the way to Maine!

The frugal ways seem to have parted my company for some reason, lol. Though we must get back to watching it again. this modding stuff, as you know, can be sort of addictive, but I rather spend it on my car compared to crack or herion, hehehe, (my justification).

A guy at the other site is doing the EFI Live Cos 5 with the n2o trigger for his SD tune, pretty cool what can be done these days.

Here is a EFI Live 100 dry shot log screen, stock (42 # injectors), no tuning or "Interface".

why would you want to use the interface if you were using efi live.. install cos 5 it gonna be more reliable, and easier to adjust peramaters.. not to mention more control and less wireing

Cos 5 Is Easy To Run And It Basically Allows You To Add A Trigger To Your Existing Pcm.. Once This Ground Wire Is Activated Your Computer Switches Its Fueling And Spark Tabels To Ones That Can Be Set Up With Different Values...

Accordingly You Can "tune" Your Car For N20 And Tune Your Car N\a And At A Flip Of A Switch Or (when Triggered By A Relay,windowswitch,ect...) Jump Between The 2 Tunes

They Have Been Doing This For Years In The Diesel Truck Market.. Its A Old Concept But Just Recently Someone Thought To Apply It To The Lsx Market
