got to race my car today
I'm not doubting what the jets are. I'm just saying to drop over .7 in that time range takes more than a 100 hp. So while the jets might be rated for a specific number you are definitely getting more out of it (not a bad thing either).

i will have to look up the jet size. i forget what it is. its on the NX chart that came with my plate kit. on there slip its the 100 shot. i forget maybe the 200 shot was the 47 jets. i'll look when i get home.
either way its the same jetting as i ran the 100 shot last year and went a best of 9.3 @ 142-144
so to go from 9.99 @ 135 to 9.74 @ 141 then last year hit it with 100 and it went 9.3 @ 143 (i think it was) to a 9.0 its legit. i forget what jets numbers i had in there, but i know its what NX claims to be the 100 shot. i didnt put the 200 in there because i didnt have the wheelie bars yet.
maybe Nitro Dave can jump in here and fill me in on what the jetting is? i thought it was 47 32 maybe it was 42 37 pretty sure there 200 shot is a 52 47 but again, i dont have the sheet infront of me. i forget

Nice times man.. You are kicking the new year off great. Take your time and enjoy the car for a while. You deserve it.
100 shot for the Gemini twin at 10psi is 41 nitrous and 31Fuel

and i didnt even look, but if you say those are the 100 jets, thats what im using

Hard to believe you don't know what jets are in it.

Good runs but..... it takes more than 100 hp to go from 9.8 to 9.0 id say right about 175 rwhp. 150 on a real light car.

the car is set up for spray, on motor the thing is a turd!!! very lazy 1.48-1.52 60' times and it just doesnt get rolling till the 330 or so.
if i had a motor converter in my car, i can amost promis that car would run mid to low 9s on motor.
either way, last year the car went 9.9 on motor and 9.3 on NX's 100 shot
this year it went 9.7 on motor and with the same jets it went 9.3 with last year it is now running 9.0-9.1 at 147-149 (last 4 passes have been 9.1 147-149)
not sure if you know anyone up this way, but my car has been sitting in my trailer since this past weekend, untouched with the 100 shot jets in it. come on up or send some one you know, i will pull it apart right infront of anyone, and show you what jets im running.
i run 950-975 bottle pressure, tr-7 plugs (tr-8's depending on weather) 8 3/4 psi fuel 117 octain fuel in motor and spray, and 24* of timming
i have nothing to hide, and as a nitrous guy i would think you would understand that a nitrous car run on motor doesnt run right, hit it with spray, loosen the converter and she starts to work

PS. Vinny is a very trusted and respected (i use that term loose. lol) memebr on the boards, he was at my house when i put the jets into my car, and they have not been touched since. im sure he will vouch for me.
here is last weekends pass. 9.1 147 car hasnt been touched since.

the converter was said to be around 4400 i see it at more of a 4100-4200
i run the 2 step at 3300
the converter was done for around 200-250 worth of spray, thats why its on the looser side. i wasnt planning on going much over 250 so thats what Marty set it up for, and it works good
Cool deal.
Mine seems to be a little to tight but I think it may help us keep it off the bumper.
We are going to see if a gear change will help a little, going thru the traps at 6200 (148mph) isnt real efficent.
What rear gears are you using?

Yes, 1.80 1st gear.
I was thinking 4.30 for 1/8th mile stuff but we may run a little of both so 4.10 should help a good bit. I'd like to go thru around 7500 or so.

your turbo 400 tho. i want to go to a th 400 and put my 3:73's back in. wanna buy my glide??
ATV, with a 30" tire you would be all out with 4:30, or real close.
i rev mine a bit higher so i just make it, but im stuck with the 100 shot right now, i dont want to run over 8200
